Probably, and I wouldn't like it. He's likely a top 6 NHLer, but I dislike his way of playing the game. I'll probably change my mind in a year or 2.

Scott Wheeler just said on the Athletic podcast that Arizona took Dvorsky, Reinbacher, Leonard, Willander, Benson, and Yager to dinners.

Wheeler said when he was writing he deep dive on Dvorsky, in doing his research, his AIK contacts said that the team that had been on Dvorsky the most all year was far and away “bar none” the Arizona Coyotes. And that plus the dinner they had with him makes it 50/50 they take Dvorsky. He believes they really, really like Dvorsky.

This was reportedly at the combine. Not sure what will happen this week.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, pushing for their protected first should be the first ask but I do like some players at 40 projected to be there this year. If you slot in a couple names it makes the drop down two spots interesting. Of course, this if we have ruled out Michkov.

6 for 8 (Dvorsky-C/W) + 40 (One of Hrabel-G, Wahlberg-C, Dvorak-LD, Nelson-C) + Chesley-RD +?

I think that’s an overpay by Washington. The value of just one of Chesley OR 40th I think is closer to my he correct add to 8th than is the combined value of Chesley AND 40th.

We definitely have the picks to do it….

I am thinking the only way would be to add picks and take on a bad contract (which we supposedly aren’t doing that) the only team I see us maybe being willing to would be Detroit.. St Louis I heard wants to move up .. No point with Vancouver as it’s only 1 spot. Washington wants to move up if Michkov is available

but I don’t know enough about other team‘s players and contracts like some of the others on this forum

12 to 7 would cost the Coyotes ‘24 1st plus 38 possibly. 12 to 7 is a huge jump.
