If Washington is willing to pay the price to move up then this is fine. But if they’re colluding with the player to poison the well so he drops to their pick, the league needs to strip their pick from them.

i don/t think I would do either. Do we need Rossi? I like him. I get his a Tourigny project move. Yes, he has upside.
But he's 5'9" player who has struggled at the NHL level thus far who lost a year plus of his prime development years with long covid. I am not tripping all over myself to give up a first round pick in this draft for a question mark with upside. Sorry. I'd offer a future (2024) second. That's about it.

I'd rather not move 6, unless it's getting traded into the top 3. 12 on the other hand, I would like to explore trade options on, both up and down. I would like to add 1 more 1st in the top 10-15, but that seems unlikely.
