Moore will bring Moore speed and Moore goals. I like him Moore than Smith some nights. I don't get how there isn't Moore hype around him. I wish he had Moore good linemates.More and more I hear Moore to the Wings
Well, let's get this hype train going!Moore will bring Moore speed and Moore goals. I like him Moore than Smith some nights. I don't get how there isn't Moore hype around him. I wish he had Moore good linemates.
It's from last month but this Reinbacher clip shows his offensive ability.

2023 NHL DRAFT: EARLY SEASON FAVOURITES SERIES WITH VIDEO - SWITZERLAND - David Reinbacher
Easily my favorite defender at the draft. I think he goes in the #5-7 range though. He's got all the tools you want in a modern top pair defender and is decently physical in the showings I've seen.
He's been one of my favorites for us for awhile. Would fit well with Larkin/Kasper.Moore will bring Moore speed and Moore goals. I like him Moore than Smith some nights. I don't get how there isn't Moore hype around him. I wish he had Moore good linemates.
Fine with him going before we pick and sliding a forward down. Next year's draft should be much better for defenseman, if we want to go that route.

In my opinion Reinbacher is right below where I'd be comfortable with picking him. Will I be mad if we pick him? No, RD is a need in the system. However I think there will be better wingers and centers available. Unless we climb in the standings a bit.I want to agree with you but I also think that if by some crazy circumstance Reinbacher slips past 10 and Detroit picks 11th, I run to the stage for Reinbacher.
Personally, I think Reinbacher gets selected in the 5-7 range. Maybe even as high as 4th if someone doesn't want to gamble on Michkov. If Montreal passes him at 7 (their current rank) I would be absolutely shocked.
We have much bigger needs than RD. You can find third pair/depth RD players by avenues other than the draft. In my opinion Reinbacher is right below where I'd be comfortable with picking him. Hakan was running wild but Ollie Moore took over this place.
We've got Hronek, Seider, Raymond, and Berggren all RFAs in 2 years. (How Hronek is an RFA at 26 idk but that's what capfriendly says). Wouldn't be surprised if Hronek ends up being a cap casualty unless he plays lights out and forces us to make room for him. Would be nice to have some top 4 rd in the system for that reason. We have much bigger needs than RD. You can find third pair/depth RD players by avenues other than the draft.
I have thought he has played well enough this year to be part of our long term plans, but that's me.We've got Hronek, Seider, Raymond, and Berggren all RFAs in 2 years. Might consider this kid in round 2/3.. the shot is pretty good.

This is the current mock draft on Tankathon, thoughts?
What else do they do? I can't see anyone passing on Michkov in the 4 slot for the alternative options. Just too big of a gap.I'd be angry.
Also no way Arizona picks Michkov. They'd have his rights for 3 years and then he walks and signs with the Rangers or a high profile club.
Yzerman won't draft an undersized defensemen that high. This is the current mock draft on Tankathon, thoughts?

I ended up with Moore as well.
1. Oliver Moore
2. Timur Mukhanov
2. Noah Dower-Nilsson
3. Tom Willander
4. Felix Nilsson (no way he drops this much in the draft.)
5. Nick Lardis
6. Bronson Ride
7. Noa Vali
I'm expecting Detroit to get 3 more picks (minimum) by the draft so this could be a very fun one. Also if we ended up with that draft I would be dancing.
