Personal fav of mine for Detroit. I like adding another plus skater down the middle to pair with Larkin and Kasper:
If Quentin Musty is there in round 2, that would be my target.Beyond 1st or even 2nd round guys...
Any targets?
EDIT:
Collard
Hes
McCoy
Pitre
Terrance
Some for me.
Whut?!?!We have too many players right now sign with Red Wings and we need to let Edvinsson, Soderblom, Berggren , possible Kasper play with Red Wings next season. I expect Perron, Copp, Chiarot and couple more get traded before deadline. We could have extra first and second round picks , then we could combine them to get even higher pick. Hope we have 3 first round picks this strong draft
I'd keep Walman, Suter and Sundqvist and ErneWhut?!?!
Those guys are definitely not getting traded. Stevie will just let some of the expiring contracts walk.
- Oesterle
- Walman
- Hagg
- Suter
- Erne
- Sundqvist
-Pysyk
Plus there's a chance that the players we want back don't re-sign which includes DBOss, Bert, and Maatta
I suggest you look at Capfriendly next time:
If that gets them off the Wings, they're all yours.I'd keep Walman, Suter and Sundqvist and Erne

Sometimes you have to sacrifice. And Sunny is getting to the "I'd almost rather have a lesser player that can stay healthy" stage.Haha, though I like Sundqvist, but the rest can go.
Trade Perron and Chiarot and keep Walman, Sunny, Erne and Suter?!?! You've gotta be kidding,I'd keep Walman, Suter and Sundqvist and Erne

Akey I like.If Quentin Musty is there in round 2, that would be my target.

I know nothing about this kid, but he is putting up a bunch of points and committed to a good NCAA program: Aiden Fink at eliteprospects.com
I'm gonna try and get my first viewing of Ritchie today. Anyone else on Oshawa or Peterborough to keep an eye on?Seems like opinions are still forming on this class and there is a good bit of variance still after the first few top names out there.
Some realistic targets I like for us:
Oliver Moore - Elite skater, good 2 way player, underrated offense, think he projects as a C.
Calum Ritchie - Big bodied goal scorer.
Ethan Gauthier - High upside offensive forward.
Otto Stenberg - Underwhelming in J20 play, but has been phenomenal in international play.
Will Smith - If he goes in the 10-20 range, sign me up.
Andrew Cristall - Undersized forward, but I really like this player.
Koehn Ziemmer - Been on a tear in the WHL (need to watch more of him).
Colby Barlow - Saw some of him at the Hlinka, but need to watch more of him.
I though Donovan McCoy was an interesting player going into the season, but not sure he is in the mix still.I'm gonna try and get my first viewing of Ritchie today. Anyone else on Oshawa or Peterborough to keep an eye on?
Low production guys intrigue me at times. One guy I liked watching Kitchener is Kyle Morey. Dude has 1 point in 16 games as a forward but I liked some snipits of his game. I think I'll try and keep an eye on some very off the radar guys this year to develop my player evaluation. When you're always looking at the best of the best you can sometimes lose reference on what you're looking at.I though Donovan McCoy was an interesting player going into the season, but not sure he is in the mix still.

We clearly need more offense. The team can't score yet again this year, so I think we need to draft a high end point producer. The way the team has played in the last little bit makes me think we are picking in the top 10 again. The team "over-achieved" a bit early on, and we took advantage of a weak schedule. I think a pick in the 5-8 range is extremely possible.
You and @Coach Reggie Dunlop were much higher on Warren than I was (I did see the appeal though). This team's defense could also use a boost.
Hey @Frk It , what defense prospects are there this year that are reminiscent of Noah Warren? Big, mobile, physical D?
Really excited to watch Austria this year at the WJC.Bit too early for this but this guy is keeps popping up in my radar. Worth to keep an eye for at least.

I don't think Gavin McCarthy or Lukas Dragicevic should be there in the 2nd round, but if they were, I would be down with taking them.
This kid is also kinda interesting -- Vojtech Port at eliteprospects.com
Yeah I like those guys in particular. I really don't think there is a defensmean in this draft similar to Warren, Warren was a pretty unique prospect. Those are all strong hockey names. I don't think it's possible for someone with a badass name like Dragicevic to be bad at hockey.
I don't think I've liked any of the dmen I've watched this year. Especially this Cameron Allen kid that's high on McKenzies list. Did not like what I saw there. Most of the dmen I do like I like as second round picks. You and @Coach Reggie Dunlop were much higher on Warren than I was (I did see the appeal though).
That said... this draft doesn't have a lot of quality defenseman, and most of the ones I have ended up liking are on the smaller side.
But maybe you could look at:
