It is. Sadly there is no way Boston screw up again in the first round and their Czechs are not injured like this year if they do (except Zacha, who excused himself for “personal” reasons and should not be invited again on principle).
Sorry about that, still..................I'll have a great time, and that's what it's all About, ME

I'm not much but I'm all I think about .:thumbu:

Voženílek is a monster. Who would say this at the beginning of the season?
He's been really aggressive this game.

He used to be a very average Extraliga player, but was improving dramatically through this season. At the end he was deservedly awarded as the MVP of the Play-Offs.

3-1.........Czechs bringing the heat!!

The tournament is in Prague next year isn't it? I might even make that trip next year, have always wanted to go to the WHC, what better place to take it in?
It's probably a great one for a Canuck to go to.. usually a stacked roster!

Allright Vozenilek is going to WCH lol ...

But that would be a decent 4th line as it is today

Nice result so far. Sadly warm-up games mean nothing (and we are still far from the end of this one), but it is good for this team’s confidence that they will feel they can keep up with Finland (very close defeat) and the Swedes (who knows about the result, but they can definitely at least score against them).

You are from Brno. Now I understand why you never responded to any of my posts mentioning Prague, my home town (relating to pubs, etc.). I still love all your posts though :)

I'm always happy to talk PIVO!lol

Will say, the Czech posters have been great.. lots of voice, some nice arguments.. I LOVE it around here lately!

Curious what our team will look like next year... Boston is in bad shape next year IMO. Pasta gets a huge raise and they may not have their 1C and 2C for under 5 million. This was their window unfortunately.

That's where I'm at.. this games mean NOTHING but it's nice to see us winning.lol

Yes, agree with all this. Especially on the PIVO front.

It has been in the past, I know one thing..................they better load up for my appearance!!
I think the Canada board nailed it.. it used to be that 'tier 2' Canucks would show up to try to get an in for a Best on Best. It was a good way to get on the Hockey Canada Radar! With no best on best coming up, the Canuck's aren't coming. Hopefully different next year as the 'star power' at this years worlds is the lowest I can remember. I'm still excited and will cheer the whole way but this is a weak year except for Finland who is lookign nice on paper. If Devils keep losing, that could really help the Swiss team!

So, I would be traveling from Komarno in Slovakia to Praque, looks like it would be around 4 hour trip, I have to check on what the distance is from Ostrava.

I am watching only till the third period, but it seems sadly like Jiricek is not having a good game :( how was he in the first two periods?

I remember A. Nylander at the WJCs.. he was rifling shots at our team the whole time. His shot was terrifying. I honestly thought he'd be a top 6 NHLer by now.

Yes I am asking cause I am worried Kari will left him home. I want him at WCH
Agree re: your concern. Kari has made at least 4-5 decisions that worry me (even though I generally like him), and this would be an additional one, if he is crazy enough to decide against.

Lol dont tell me we gonna lose another match in the last few minutes ....
That's the difference I think.. Finn's and Swede's get a lead, it's usually safe. We get a lead.. don't get too comfortable.lol

No Galvas invite
No Vrana
Sobotka in Top 6
Didn't want a 2nd NHL goalie
Cut Svozil after a minute
loving Jordan more than anyone
using EHT as the main way to pick a team

Am I close?
