Who has ever thought this Avs team would be healthy? Lol You gotta be crazy to be expecting 75+ games out of all the big guns.
More then just 1 or 2 people have been going on with this silliness all summer quite frankly.

Using it as an excuse for why we lost to Seattle and using it as the reasoning for why we're going to be so much better this year.

I know everyone is joking around about this, but I'd like to hear something like this:

"I know the fans want to know what happened, and they certainly deserve to, but it's not something I can talk about unfortunately. I just want to say I've long since apologized to my teammates and want to do the same now to the fans. I'm sorry I let down the team when they needed me most. I promise that this year my focus is purely on hockey and you won't be hearing any more stories like this about me. That is all I want to say about the situation, and I hope everyone will respect my privacy and we can move on to talk about this upcoming season. We're all laser-focused on bringing another cup to Denver, and nothing is going to stand in our way this year."

Lol, this is all you're getting man.

Thinking we’re going to be completely healthy and thinking there’s potential for improvement this season/come playoff time is two different things IMO. I think health was the second biggest reason we lost to Seattle personally. A failed deadline was the obvious first.

Only way it could be worse is a season ender for Makar/Mack/Rants basically. Will it be similar? Probably given our history but there’s certainly upside for improvement in that area that doesn’t require delusional thinking where everyone plays 82 games.

I'm calling it right here...

Makar is completely healthy but he now thinks he is above practicing. He already knows he is better than anybody on the team and he doesn't need to practice. That's why he is sitting up there looking down at everybody.

Am I doing this right?

What matters is who is healthy for game #83
And who we can hide on LTIR with nagging injuries for more cap space if Kroenke will allow it

Lots of chatter about being healthier this season when odds are the Avs just won't be. When ESPN release their projected stats people went wild over the games played, even thought they were completely realistic. The Avs are always one of the most injured teams. I mean they are already kicking off with 82 games with Landy and probably 20+ from Frank. Over 20% of the way to last year's total already.
Altitude is already hammering health as their talking point. This team had the second highest MGL in the covid short season with months of offseason. They have the highest MGL in the league since the year 2000.
