We have 500k of cap space, if Frank goes on IR it will be interesting to see what happens when he's ready to come back.

I think they'll explore the Annunen route. Avs sure weren't afraid to use real bad goalies in the past 4-5 years. Miska, JoJo, Hutchinson...

Annunen can't be much worse than that.

worst thing about having brutal #2/#3 goalies is the team has to bring it every single night to get those points. Much prefer the boys being able to sandbag 1/4 of the games of the season get rested and still steal some of those points cuz our backup was capable.

Yeah that sucks for Frankie. Really solid goalie especially for his size, just couldn't stay healthy. Always thought if he could stay healthy he'd have taken the #1 spot tbh.


But, they need to move on. Make a swap with Montreal for DeSmith, would free up $200k in cap space as well.
