Drouin is going to thrive if he can stay healthy. The elite vision , stickhandling and speed is undeniable . I believe that He can play at the high pace Mack and makar and others on this team play. His career was altered by injuries , mental health issues , expectations , you know the story. Now at 825k/yr and given top 6 opportunities, he will be thrive. I look at lehkonnen, kadri , compher stats over the last 5 years surrounded by elite talents and you can see clearly the impact. It is similar to playing on a line with mcdavid. So I firmly believe that it is realistic that he scores at a 0,8-0,9 ppg this year.
Well… how come no one really excels when they play with Mcdavid other than Draisaitl who he never plays with? Riddle me that.

83 pts last year
55 years before
Had 30-40 points all those years before in TO
Yeah 1 player, a lot of players have played on Mcdavids wing and can’t put up points for some reason while Mcdavid is getting 120-150 points.

See there is something inherently unfair about relationships. It was perfectly acceptable for my wife to throw me an over-the-hill party, but I wouldn't dare try and flip that table and throw one for her.

I might have cancer, but I still enjoy drawing breath.

This is true, but as men, with women, we must accept there is a double standard if we want to keep them around lol.

Fuk limit poker.. You can't manage the game when you get bad hands. You can't target weak players with your pot, you can't target players when you're weak.

It's a joke, completely based on luck and runs of good hands or absolute total grinding playing statistics. Waste of time..

I'd rather buy in with 250 at a max buy in no limit table of 1k, and feel it out. Limit poker is a waste of time, it's for old people to spend their social security on.

MGM here does a max buy in 500 table, with a max bet of 500. So it's as similar to no limit as it can get. You can bet 500, but then the next person can raise it to 1k. Rarely feels like there is a limit.

I just can't with limit poker lol. Donkeys all day, and you can't take advantage when you finally get the right hand.
Yup I agree. Limit game sucks, I just wanted to start out with a limit game playing at a table in casino for the 1st time, and like you said, I got lucky hand after hand. Won couple of huge pots with pocket deuces etc… was beginners luck

It can work, if you're on a good tilt, but you can't get people off stupid hands early. So you see a lot more people sticking around chasing a 1 card out because you can't actually threaten them with any real downside when you know they're chasing a flush draw on the river or a damn gut shot straight.

It's not even that really, it's the amount of flops with rando cards people are allowed to see.

If you have Q5 suited, and I have AK, I'm betting enough pre flop you lay that shit down. In limit, that dude catches his flush on you at the turn, or God for bid at the river while you catch your straight.

He shouldn't be in the hand if you bet strong or someone else did.

Just no lol

Well, I only played the limit game twice and never again. I have a weird play style. I almost never bluff, I slow play or over bet all the time, it’s just all over the place LOL.

You could say I don’t play by the book

It's harder online, can't see people. It's data and patterns online. I'm more intuitive, but playing online reminds you of both perspectives.

I usually have a stiff drink, and then drink beer at the casino. You need your inhibitions to be softened but not gone.

I know it's frowned on, but playing on line in a pair is fire lol. You can completely manipulate a table if you're both good enough. You can do it in person easy enough without cheating, and crossing lines. That's what Rounders is kinda about lol.
I got banned from Pokerstars for doing that on like a .5 cent table lol. Lost all my money in that account too which is BS
