not a bad idea in theory.... is there a team with a 3 goalie situation where someone is going to be sent down that is worthy of being a backup tho?Just grab someone on waivers
Not that early, lol.In 1999, no less.
Well at least Hejduk only stuck around for another five or six years. Not that early, lol.
I was clamoring for it after the 2004 season and during the lockout/strike in 2005, and was screaming it from the highest mountain after the 2007 season.
Trade Frank for DeSmith. He doesn't want to be in Montreal and they have 3 NHL goalies at the moment. Would create a little bit of cap space as well.
I like it.
Send them crocked Frank, they can LTIR him, we take DeSmith off their hands.
No, keep Francouz and just add a backup. Who cares if we carry three goals nowadays, the chances are that Pavel will get injured again later on anyway.Montreal doesn't want or need Frankie at all. We'd have to go another route if we want DeSmith.
MacDermid might kill someone in AHL and go to prison because they fight a lot in that league and we don’t want that. Although that would free up about a mill in cap space. What are the rules in the NHL and cap if a player goes to prison? Is it the same as LTIR?If the Avs added DeSmith and wither traded Frank in the deal or simply put him on LTIR, that would give them just enough cap flexibility thay they could waive/demote MacDermid to the AHL and be able to carry a full 23 man roster as well, fwiw.
Rants is the only winger better than Nuke on the team this seasonHe is here. That's how deadly awesome our team is
He sucks.Jonas Johansson currently makes 1.55 mil over TWO years, juuuust sayin.
Yeah he's not the kind of player the Avs like to acquire. He sucks.
Those cheeks. I knew a guy at school with puffy cheeks like that and it turned out it was from kidney issues.
