Eric Robinson is a 4th liner with speed to spare, plays physical, and can forecheck very well... basically he's Miles Wood. For a 7th, I'd take a chance that he just fell out of favor.

I will say that maybe it's a step (however small) in the right direction because Oh Lordy is Buffalo's bottom six full of milquetoasts. That's a huge issue with Jost. He doesn't provide any offense, only adequate-at-best defense, and absolutely NO energy to the proceedings.

Jost needs to play in Europe.

RyJo skates like he's dragging a one ton trailer of rocks behind him!

Until there's a defensive breakdown, or a loose puck, and then he can skate just fine for a big guy. Which is the frustrating part I'm sure for Bednar.

As is when he shrugs off physical players trying to hit him like he's Eric Lindros. He really is the total package, but only when he finds the motivation to do so.

This is probably also why RJ plays so much better in the playoffs, because that's when he needs to hustle, like during a defensive breakdown, or a loose puck situation.

It would be nice if he could do that during the regular season too, but we kinda knew that was the player we were getting. If he can hustle in the playoffs, which is also the player we thought we were getting, then IMO he'll have been a good addition with their cap restraints.

Broberg needs to go to Tampa. It’s the best system and environment for him. Doubt it works as he’s a real dummy… but that is his best shot

There was a lot of good conversation today about MacFarland and Bednar not being aligned. It certainly has seemed that way.

But between MacFarland’s vision simply being the bargain bin and Bednar wanting guys who play a certain way, does the logical solution become having two Cs like Colton?

With that framework, a wing like Vatrano starts to make more sense.

Just get Monahan. He’s on pace for 50 points on a bad team, he’s only making like 2 mill, and it shouldn’t cost too much getting him

No, no, you're not doing it right. They have to trade for someone they can't afford. And they have to give up players that would make the team worse. Otherwise CMac is a cheap bum.

What farm?
What do you mean...'what farm' ????

That can’t be real
It is. I was like $15 bucks for an Avs player. I wonder who it is.... wut????

Then I was like, is it $15 bucks because some maniac at Upper Deck thought that Middleton was going to be a Young Gun after 3 lacklustre NHL games or because the owners of this store are idiots???
