Rumor: 2023-24 Trade Rumors and Free Agency: Part Deux

If RNH is actually available I’d hope the Avs take a look. That’s a really good contract
I have watched enough RNH over the years to know you can't win with guys like him in the playoffs.

People think Tatar is soft. RNH in the playoffs is a disaster. His point totals the last two playoff runs are deceiving, too, because they are mostly tied to 97.

What happens to Sammy G's $5M cap while he's in the program? Is it like LTIR or does it count fully?

Gonna be hilarious when CMac picks up Lars Eller at the deadline and nothing else with all his extra money from G going on LTIR.
The Lars Eller trade was the biggest waste of a 2nd round pick I've seen. Not because he sucked but because CMac knew that doing that trade alone would not make any difference whatsoever and he still pulled the trigger.

There’s nothing to suggest that Girard is going to miss 6 months of hockey.

And because it’s not an injury, attempting to predict a return is impossible

How many guys have gone into the program and came out to play the same season? Vrana is the only one I can recall. Bobby Ryan I dont think came back the same year. Carey Price is done. Spencer Knight went in and hasnt been in the NHL since. Seems that more often then not that players that go into the program dont come back the same season and for good reason.

If G doesn't come back this season and the plan was trading him next summer CMac will have to get really creative. Especially if Landy comes back...holy f***.

Yeah, G could easily be done for the rest of this year.

But it is a tough one to be able to know either way so I doubt the Avs use his LTIR money. We'll see.
