I don't know ; I like the element of kneeing Kaliyev added to his game.We got keep Laf over Grundstrom or Kaliyev going fwd
I might not be sad if Bjornfot is claimed off waivers.
Kings are waiting until they completely tank any value he had to move on from himbjornfot f***ing sucks
He just looks f***ing timid and lost.
Zero.
Well I noticed that in the short time I’ve seen him play that he’s got heart and standing up to that fight and doing pretty well is really encouraging. Dave was absolutely fearless. It’s a pretty tall order to measure up to Stitch this early but he’s a pretty good looking player so far. What the hell, even if he’s got a kitty DT in him, I’m stoked. It's funny you say this, I was a bit young to remember the Taylor heydey, but when I saw Laf play last season in Ann Arbor I told my dad I was interested in watching a Kings prospect playing for Harvard, during the game that is who my old man said he thought he reminded him of. We both came away very impressed. He has a great combination of heart and skill. This is looking like a great pick by the Kings.
I just hope they give this kid a chance, at this point he's probably just a better player than Lewis. I don't know if I think he can be a scorer or want him taking Kaliyev's job, but making Lewis a healthy scratch or making it where we maybe trade Moore for a goalie? Sure, sign me up.
I’d move him for a boom/bust guy easily. This is sometimes why it's not great to take the vanilla, NHL ready, not much upside guy. I really don't think he's any better now than he was at 19, he might actually be worse. The Kings butchered his development not sending him back to Sweden and putting him in the AHL last year after being an NHL regular for 2 years, I think they broke him.
But there just wasn't going to be a ton here, even if they developed him perfectly. He will bounce around the league playing 3rd pairing, tough to see another high pick just not live up to draft capital used.
