Classic Byfield goal but I'll take it.

I've said before that no lead is safe in any Kings game this year, for either side.

I was shocked the total for this game was 6. I don't think the books are going to set Kings totals at 6 very much this season. This team is going to be in a lot of 5-4, 5-3, 4-3, type games.

He looks more assertive tonight than he has the last 3 years. Hes not bobbling pucks and he took charge on the 2nd pp unit. Hes coming along slowly but he is definitely getting better

Got one of his four goals out of the way. Just one more deflection off an opposing player, need him to take a penalty late in a game and score an empty netter and an own goal by an opponent after he touched the puck, and Byfield should be set for the season. But all seriousness that was a great hustle play and thanks for Gorgiev batting that puck right to him.

Byfield looks better, even before the goal. He is a winger, that is the position he should play his entire career. The Kings can keep saying otherwise to try and cover themselves, but the results and eye-test are tough to ignore.

If QB can be the #3 guy on a 1st line, or the #2 guy on a 2nd line I'd take it. It's not his fault the weight of an entire rebuild was placed on him and he was drafted from a spot that should produce a 1st line star.

I think he was talking total goals....which if they are in for a lot of 9 goal, 8 goal and 7 goal games, the total should be fine
