Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

He is already the second highest time on ice per game for ducks dmen(excluding drysdale who is injured).
It currently is Cam and then him. If minty is playing powerplay1 and even strength as our “2nd pair” and is only couple minutes behind our stalwart duck for life fowler that is great.
Only question is matchup / line support. Ideally we never need to see fowler playing 30/game again
Minty time will come soon if he keeps this level of play. Hopefully endurance isnt an issue

The additions of Gudas, Lyubushkin, LaCombe, and Minchy have been a boon for the Ducks!

They collectively just have astronomically more to offer than White, Benoit, Shattenkirk, Beaulieu etc. Such a huge difference.

Lyubushkin would probably have been Cam's partner on the top pairing last season. The fact that he's our number 6 speaks volumes to how much better our personnel is compared to last season. Night and day.

People have legitimate gripes about Eakins but never forget the utter soiled diaper of a roster that PV gave him to work with.

He's not a good coach, but even the best coach was finishing bottom five with that D core.
Not sure if it is correct but I think it worked out perfect for PV with regards to a lame duck coach and a young promising but currently terrible roster
He got one more season of terrible to get high picks in a deep draft. A coach to fire who takes the heat as you bring in your guy. Then when things start turning around everyone is going to think it happened as a result of coaching and culture and your imprint onthe team. Cronin the savior. Verbeek knows how to run things.
In the background the fans wonder was sacrificing hampus worth it :p. Was that terrible 2022-23 season worth my eyeballs and ticket dollars

When the ducks get the ship righted(hopefully soon) I think the media orgs will come around. Everyone is viewing us like san jose and the dumpster fire from last year and quite frankly we are not…. At least it doesnt feel like we are. There is some lift in the ducks wings this year and we better not be tanking again

Strome/Mac/Frank have scored exactly half of our goals this season through 7 games.

I'd credit that trio with more than half because Gudas scored on a puck going wide, but Mac bullied Lindholm in the crease to cause Lindholm's right foot to stick out to kick-redirect the puck into the net. If Mac wasn't there, then that's just missed shot from the point.
And it could be more if the team used Mac properly on the PP. He was our leading PP goal scorer last year.

I'm looking at how we are building this defense, and I'm wondering if Drysdale is really part of this teams future, does he envision a defense with both Zell and JD? LaCombe and Minty both look like pillars back there and they both have some size will be interesting to watch
