Imagine Killorn luring Stamkos here on a half friendly deal….
That would be sweeetImagine Killorn luring Stamkos here on a half friendly deal….
And 3 points from Celebrini. With this win, we are only 2 points out of a wildcard position.

It felt like their worst game of the season thus far. So it's on the list with every game in the Eakins/Carlyle2 era where they managed to win despite getting outshot by 20 and outplayed severely for the vast majority of the game. That had to have been one the most unsatisfying wins I’ve ever seen.
When fully healthy, what do you think our 4th line should be? Assume Zegras, Carlsson, Terry, Killorn, McTavish, Vatrano, Strome, Henrique, and I guess Lundestrom are in the top 9.
That means the candidates would be: Leason, Groulx, Carrick, Silfverberg, McGinn, Johnston, Jones.
I would probably go with Jones/McGinn-Groulx/Carrick-Leason.
I’d also give McTavish an exemption, as well as Minty (who played himself into being a top guy) and Gudas has been good as well.Horrible game but great effort to come back and win. 3rd and 4th line showed up. Top guys who arent Frank gotta figure shit out.
Strome quietly is second on the team on points right now. The first 3 are for sure the ones who need to step up.I’d also give McTavish an exemption, as well as Minty (who played himself into being a top guy) and Gudas has been good as well.
Zegras, Terry, Henrique, and Strome need to step up
Yeah soon after posting I reread it and thought to myself Strome doesn’t need to step up so much as be more consistent. He’s been decent, just needs to shave off those bad games he has every few games.Strome quietly is second on the team on points right now. The first 3 are for sure the ones who need to step up.
This, it felt kinda like last season tbh. That had to have been one the most unsatisfying wins I’ve ever seen.
I meant forwards. Overall our D has been pretty solid. I'll agree about Mac, though.I’d also give McTavish an exemption, as well as Minty (who played himself into being a top guy) and Gudas has been good as well.

Whatever "it" is, Minty has it in spades. He's silky smooth with the puck and he's got both the tools and the toolbox. He's gonna be a good one. Also I didn’t mention this before but there was some serious gas on that Minty shot that led to the Strome goal. Watching the replay I’m realizing that.
I thought Minty was easily our best player in this one.
I agree about z and carlsson…. Vatrano is prob best fit until killorn is back.I'd honestly staple Vatrano to Zegras and Carlsson and move Terry away from that first unit. From that one game I managed to watch, I think Z and Carlsson have better chemistry together than Terry does with either one of them, and a shooter could benefit those two creative puck hounds more.
Give Terry to Mac and see what they can conjure up together. Maybe they free up space for one another to play their preferred play styles.

There are two games left this week, so I guess he'll play both, and then only 2 total games next week. So I guess he's about to play 4 in a row, if they literally mean two games per calendar week.Strome has produced. Other three, totally agree. We are 2-4 because of the Mac line, and solid goaltending. Just imagine getting, Leo (recurring, lol), Drysdale, and Killorn back in the line up.

The style that Terry is playing I'm not sure if he's going to have great chemistry with anyone.I'd honestly staple Vatrano to Zegras and Carlsson and move Terry away from that first unit. Silf was inherited to our new GM and coach, if he isn’t getting it done. They will sit him npJohnston carrick leason and sub silver with Johnston depending on the enemies line up
Z carlsson terry
Killer Mack vatrano
Henry Strome Jones/silver
Johnston/silver carrick leason
Problem is silvers contract is pricey to be riding the pine or playing sub ten mins on the banger line
I agree - Silf's contract isn't going to keep him in the lineup or in the top 9. If this were a contending team, he would have been bought out. He's still here for veteran leadership and as a nod to being a warrior for the team for the last 10 years. If they need to sit him on occasion, I don't think they'll hesitate.Silf was inherited to our new GM and coach, if he isn’t getting it done. They will sit him np
Pretty much…. Cronin def needs to get on terry a bit.The style that Terry is playing I'm not sure if he's going to have great chemistry with anyone.
He plays like an NBA star who wants to ISO and go 1 on 1.
