Did he post an update on his ankle/leg lol?
That's Leo Carlsson. Great, young centre. But he's no bananaslug39

I’m starting to think his condition might not be worthy of an official status update from the team. Hopefully that’s the case. I feel like they would’ve sent something out by now.
I remember when Bonino had a flu, apparently. He ended up being out for months and at the end it was revealed that while he had a flu, he also had a broken bone

Damn. On a tangent of hiding pertinent info, the Angels org did something similar this past season. Their expensive third baseman had a shin injury on July 4th. He hasn't been playing since. We find out in Sept that that shin injury was actually a broken fibula and that the org had known for weeks/month, but the org kept quiet.

Are we going 14F-7D or 13F-8D? With many injuries to our forward corps, it might be safer to go 14 forwards - 7 defense.

Oddly, when looking at capfriendly, we haven't put Killorn on IR. Is it a different case if one gets injured during training camp than before training camp, such as being ineligible to play for seven days meaning regular season games? I dunno.

Agozzino is a fringe NHL offensive forward. Kassian brings... a big body with some offensive flashes this training camp. This sucks missing Carlsson on top of injuries to Killorn and Lundy.

I don't know if Luneau will get a 9-game NHL stint since most of our veteran defense are on the right side. I don't like the idea of rotating youth D; would rather send the youth D down to play full time than to learn on the job at the NHL level if the you isn't playing full time in the NHL.

No need to put a player on IR during the summer, no roster limits. You also get the greatest use of putting a player on LTIR during the season when you’re already at the top of the cap, so that wouldn’t happen regardless.

Those lines make me optimistic about Leo's health. I'd think if he's going to miss time Rico would be at LW on the top line in practice.
Yeah seems like he’s a placeholder while Carlsson heals up. Wish they’d give some kind of update, but no news is better than bad news.
