I'm hoping this recent skid is a reality check for Briere that they definitely need to be sellers at the deadline.
i dont believe these guys are capable of truely selling assets of value EVEN after the PO cutoff is come and gone.

im sure they will come out with "we owe to the lockerroom to add more Veteren Veteranyness..."

AIR, right before the Holiday break Briere emphatically saiid that the Flyers were not buyers. That being said, it looks as though he's not drinking Kool-Aid. Probably will go with what he has and fill in from LHV when some guys are moved. Maybe an extension for Seeler and/or Walker but tickets out of town for others.

That would be stupid. Don't make the same mistake he already made with Laughton. Trade them now while their value is at its highest.

Extending Walker does concern me. The club doesn't need another AMac situation. Seeler is useful but whether or not he stays depends on what he wants. Attard is ready to fill in for whoever gets traded out. If they both go then Belpedia could fill in as well.
The Laughton situation isn't discussed enough. IMO, he has been a real disappointment this year. Last season his play was the best of his career as a Flyer. He looked good at the Worlds in the summer. Now he's dropped off. Should have moved him out during the summer.

Not trading Laughton for a 1st and 2nd over the summer was a pretty catastrophic mistake (downplayed by many) by Briere and I hope he learned from it. They would be lucky to get a 2nd for him now.

Another AMac situation? Amigo Flyers already have another $5M 3rd pair defender who might even be worse than AMac was. Risto is Chuck Flutches gift to us all

So with Frost again in Torts doghouse what are chances you think he is moved?

What would Flyers be looking for in return for him if they do move him? What are needs of Flyers organization?

Also remember how Torts scratched Sanheim when they played in Calgary claiming he had no idea he's local. Maybe someone ought to ask him if he was aware of Atkinsons Columbus connection before scratching him against his former team.

They need to quit dicking him around and get him out. He'll be a productive NHLer somewhere else. My hate for Torts isn't like most (all???) of you, but he's definitely screwed him over. No sense in keeping Frost around.

Obvious solution would be to fire Torts. Flyers will end up trading him for Atkinsonesque center most likely.
