Flyers probably the front runner with a very thin top 6 and existing Russian connections. Torts factor didn’t seem to scare Kuzmenko in waiving.

For one or two seasons at the 2C until they find a replacement after Nelson, I wouldn’t mind matching him with Tsyplakov

Sure that's great but there are lots of guys who can't break into a top 6 in the NHL who are great producers in the KHL and given his size he is questionable I would think.

You could be right, but for teams like the Isles and Flyers that need more skill in their top 6 he’s a no brainer to add. The isles will likely be losing both Palmieri and Nelson, signing a guy like this is low risk-high reward.

LOL...sorry...I just know that if Bettman said something like that, writing doesn't count as speaking, so he wouldn't be lying.

Ok numbers? He is literally 2nd in khl scoring. The guy in first is an older nhl veteran. The khl is a very high level league.

There will be an article out later today which will include the names of four of the teams who have actually shown interest... Flyers are not one of them as things stand.

yeah I figured. realize you're working against yourself here but... any cliff notes for Isles fans? We're likely losing 2 top 6 players next year so we should be able to offer opportunity, just like we did with Tsyplakov. That should separate us from the Rangers and Red Wings at least

Basically that the Flyers have not been in touch about him.

But that Isles, Rangers, Utah and Red Wings are four teams who have.
