By KHL scoring standards, his numbers are very good and so far this season he's over a PPG/top 5 in scoring.

Sure that's great but there are lots of guys who can't break into a top 6 in the NHL who are great producers in the KHL and given his size he is questionable I would think.

You could be right, but for teams like the Isles and Flyers that need more skill in their top 6 he’s a no brainer to add. The isles will likely be losing both Palmieri and Nelson, signing a guy like this is low risk-high reward.
