2023-24 Roster Thread #6: A Hall of Famer, a doctor, a policeman and a moose walk into a bar with a Bundy...

Who are your three favorite current Flyers' players (from Oct. 30 roster on team's website)?

Hmmm

Blocking kids with trash vets
Lying about injuries
Ignoring the future to concentrate on mediocrity in the present

Seems like the same old era of orange to me.
It’s over three months until the TDL. That’s a long time to watch this lineup that won’t make the POs and, because of the trash vets, end up out of the top ten draft positions. Season = failure.

Didn't Brink have like 6 points in his last 8 games or something?

I also don't mind Poehling in a slightly elevated role, just to see what he has. But you can do that without having to scratch Brink and Poehling.

Whatever, at least we know what to expect going forward....as if we didn't at the beginning of the year...

I feel like Foerster is the one who should sit a few games. He's playing fine, but I think Brink has been better.

Brink was in the top 5 in rookie scoring when he was scratched last week. We can’t have that.

Scoring doesn't win games. Or something.

Also always love the notion of "he's going to watch some games." Watching film and going over specific things is one thing. If just watching hockey games makes one better...well shit, put me in coach! I'm ready to play.

Pretty sure they can watch film of the game after they played in it, hell it might actually be more useful to watch film if the film includes your own playtime. What special insights do these young players get from the pressbox that they can't get from watching film of the game after it happened?

But I'm no dentist, what do I know.

Foerster's play off the puck means he gets more chances to regain his offense. Brink doesn't get that same chance.

Prospects see what they value and focus on what keeps them playing at the expense of developing their offensive skillset.

Both Poehling and Belpedio can extend their stay in the lineups with a fight. If I was either of them, that would be my focus for the next game. Jump whomever throws a boreline hit.
