I don’t view Frost as some high upside player but he is a fine middle of the lineup caliber player who’s in his athletic prime & still has years of cheap labor left with his contract/RFA rights. Even if you aren’t particularly sold on him for down the road you’re doing yourself a disservice of potentially extracting some trade value at some point. This is supposedly a rebuild you have the usage to give out if you truly wanted to.

The players may change but over the years we’ve had this exact conversation so many times.

It’s never been strictly about the player and everyone here knows that so the disingenuous “victim porn” and superiority complex” comments are just exactly that and we all see them for what they are.

I vividly remember this exact same discussion about Konecny back when Hakstol was Hakstolling him.
