The Invisible Man has been scratched. Called this one during the Kings game thread. Time to face it folks, Frost just never developed.

This is ignorant and ignored that worse players don't just skip being scratched, they get amplified.

I don't understand why you're giddy over this level of coaching and management failure. Do you think failure is good?

There’s not an ounce of giddiness here. It’s about the continued, insane, over valuing of this guy that is bordering on cult like levels.

Frost just basically had a 20/50 season, while being dicked around, and was the best non-Konecny offensive player last season. You have to be willfully ignorant to ignore that part of the equation in discussing him as a “disappointment” or there being a “lack of development.” That’s not AHL production. That’s not wishing. He did it.

He’s been creating chances galore despite the lack of points and 2 week benching. If Frost was anything but a whipping boy, the coach would be talking about process. Like he has for others who’ve done less.

Have you ever wondered why you're on an island with an incompetent Flyers team and their typical groups of defenders who collectively always get this kind of thing wrong?

If Frost is invisible to you then you aren't watching, or he lives in some evaluation blindspot you don't realize you have.

Intelligent people who twist themselves into pretzels constantly looking for the hidden truth are always going to exist.

Why they do it varies from person to person and I don't know anyone here well enough to even hazard a guess. But it's confounding and it applies to every sector of life.

We are only a couple months away from the Flyers lucking into a failure to trade their best dman at a value low point. Why is anyone trusting the Flyers aren't also blowing this?

After all these things are just more failures in a long line of failures by the same people.
Did someone offer us something for Walker?

I can’t recall anything quite like it.

Though I am reminded of how many posters threw fits about Roman Lyubimov not playing over Bellemare and Vandevelde.

Well, you see Tortorella wasn’t sold on Sanheim. Or Zuccarello. Or William Karlsson.

Quick, someone make this man Flyers Octavian.

I would enjoy finding out the reason why John Tortorella created the objective of forcing Morgan Frost off the Flyers. It can't simply be that Frost is too offensive-minded. Did he not fight Tortorella when challenged?

When he was sat for 2 weeks, his self-accountability and measured mature approach irked Tortorella.

Torts didn't get rid of Karlsson,

General manager Jarmo Kekalainen, seeking to “steer” Golden Knights general manager George McPhee away from taking right winger Josh Anderson or backup goaltender Joonas Korpisalo, agreed to a deal that he believed mitigated the Blue Jackets’ pain as much as possible.

The deal: The Blue Jackets traded the dead-weight contract of injured winger David Clarkson ($5.25 million salary cap hit through 2019-20), along with a first-round pick last summer (No. 24 overall) and a third-round pick in 2019, to Vegas so that the Golden Knights would take William Karlsson.

But, with center Pierre-Luc Dubois on the horizon, Kekalainen reasoned, the loss of Karlsson could be patched easier from within the organization than losing, say, Anderson (a power forward) or Korpisalo (a future No. 1 goaltender).

What if I remind you for the 467th time that nobody cares much about Frost, but we care deeply about the incompetence the team displays towards him? Will it sink in this time, or will you continue being deliberately wrong?

You wonder why you have a hard time here while bashing everyone by lying about them. Gee. What a mystery.

Tortorella loves offense more than any other NHL coach in the history of the world so it must be the other one.

Fans want Frost to play every game: Over valuing, insane, cult-like

Torts wants Deslauriers to play ever game: Not over valuing, not insane, not cult-like

We should be playing our best lineup, which also happens to be a younger, rebuild-centric lineup. It is maddening to many fans that this simple logic is in dispute by the coach.
