The current jersey is fine. They just need to tweak the color.

I also agree. I probably like the current jerseys more than most Flyers fan I've seen online. But the new jerseys sound like they could be a nice, new iteration without doing anything crazy.

Aren't they literally the same jerseys in a slightly darker orange?

They should be similar, but I need to see for myself before declaring them literally the same.

This mockup would be described on paper as as the same, but the actually look is a bit off from what we currently have. Of course, this is all a cheap mockup, so who really knows.

I mean, aside from the color and slightly wider shoulder stripes, it's the same lol

All they had to do was bring back the exact 90's jersey set and everyone would be happy.

Even that's too hard for these jackals.

Our 90's jerseys are nice, but I'm a bit sick of the league-wide nostalgia for all things 90's. The Coyotes and Jets are the worst offenders.

Our current set is great, and will look even better with the classic orange.

He performed like a top nine when he was healthy and skating better than the last couple years. Even then, it was his physical play along the boards that stood out.
Allison has to play an aggressive north south game b/c he's just not that skilled, just look at Foerster, the gap between them was obvious and Foerster is 4 years younger with far less experience.

If Allison doesn't play a physical, PF hard checking game, he's just not that good, he lacks good speed, he has a good but not special shot, mediocre vision (too many bad passes across ice that got intercepted) and instincts. He's best winning board battles and getting the puck to linemates.

The irony of people fluffing Allison is that he's an "old school" Flyers forwa I.m not going to argue with you . All you do is repeat what Torts' tells you . You player evaluation on it's own is as bad as it gets .

Is 7 a good spot or would it be more beneficial to say trade back a bit for more assets? Like can we get someone just as good in the teens as we could at 7?

The attempt to act like Beef’s post isn’t there but at the same time responding to one that simply states “Weird that someone who never leaves this website and posts 14 paragraph diatribes hasn't replied to this yet.

Veeerrrry strange.”

despite not naming anyone by name is top notch comedy.
I blocked Beef a long time ago - I don't deal with stalkers.
The site has been far more enjoyable since then.

With how poor attendance was this last season, it's no surprise Comcast would introduce a new jersey for that quick cash grab from fans

Oh, well then let me tag in.

Were you wrong about Allison, or were you wrong about Tortorella?
Neither. Allison isn't the same player he was in his cameo two years ago. He's not as explosive of a skater. Torts gave him a change to play on a regular basis on the third line, primarily with JVR and Hayes, and he was meh, not awful, flashed at times, but simply didn't produce at the level you'd like to see.

His problem is getting back to where he was before injuries and dings slowed him down a little, but at 26, with TK, Atkinson, Foerster and Brink lined up on the right side in camp (assuming Tippett moves to LW), he's going to face stiff competition for a top 9 role.

Last 46 games: 12:47 (5x5), 1.02 pp/60, CF 46.56%, xGF 49.94%.

Won't surprise me if he's traded for a young LW or draft pick,
Given his age and durability history, he's not a good bet to be around in 3 years in any case.
