It’s like the day before the big lottery drawing. Right now I’m thinking Lindholm and Chychrun sound like the winning numbers, but I’ll probably end up winning 2 dollars instead.
At least you can play again !

It looks like nobody on Cap Friendly has any space but still trades happening. All the other teams have to use the salary cap too, right? LOL.

The league is becoming a joke. A second year of the Mark Stone LTIR use to stack the team. Previously know as the Kucherov effect. Toronto has numerous players on LTIR when they don't pan out for them. Tampa with $16 million on LTIR. This has to be addressed in the future.

This is turning into a tough call for the Bruins here. Should it be Mercer instead of Lindholm?
Lindholm provides more experience, better face off percentage. The dropoff in scoring is concerning me. He has basically played himself off the major scoring lines.
Mercer fits in better with the time line of prospects developing and his scoring totals are more impressive given they are accomplished in the middle 6. But is he really a center? His face off percentage isn't great and according to advance stats his line is in a negative goal differential when he centers it as opposed to being the winger on that line. It sounds a bit like Zacha albeit with a better motor under the hood.

Which way do we go? Make a move at all around Ullmark, JDB or stay put and try to acquire a piece as FA in off-season versus spending assets? All things considering, I view the season so far as a positive. They are clearly a play off team albeit the early season steam has evaporated some. I don't think many of us expected to be even in this place. We may not be a cup contender but at least we will get an extended season where everything is possible. However, I think it should be the season beyond this one that the sights should be set on by Sweeney. It's time to build something instead of patching holes.

Every time I picture Toffoli as a Bruin I think of this....am I the only one thinking this way? Both #73
