LTIR Should just count towards the cap anyway. Shouldn’t be any way to circumvent it. If that’s a problem for the owners , just raise the cap number

Don is same guy who ate a 1st on Backes deal to shed that bad contract..I like Donny but there are better GMs then him 4 sure.

He also left Krejci and Debrusk to drown a number of seasons by refusing to add a second NHL winger.

Cassidy moving Debrusk to the Bergeron line out of desperation saved both his job and Sweeney's. Sweeney's tenure was built on a "perfection" line and it remains to be seen what he can do on his own.

Sweeney gambled well, and necessarily so, last trade deadline but has plenty of flaws. In hindsight perhaps Gavrikov instead of Orlov/Hathaway sees the Bruins advance.

More often than not Sweeney should be leaving fans wanting more aside from contract extensions where he does well.

Have to move on from Ullmark and get something for him. One goalie is enough when you have this many holes.

Have to keep your first round pick

Have to move Gryz so you aren’t forced to bench him or lose him to injury in the first round. Which is an annual event.

He doesn’t strike me as a guy dumb enough to waive his NMC

I think that dufas is holding things up. I really feel lindholm wants out especially last night they played him like a yoyo.

The Bruins will not trade Linus till Sway is signed and they can trade him in the offseason. Hanfin if he doesn’t sign an extension with Vegas we have a legit chance to sign him. The Bruins need to move their Ufa for either players or future Draft Picks instead of watching them walk away for nothing. I rather keep our 2015 1st and our top prospects.

I don’t get the DeBrusk to Pittsburgh unless Dubas has done a 180 in last 72 hours and decided he would rather have a UFA for 5 weeks who will leave

Maybe he hates Pittsburgh and wants to get fired

Vancouver on the other hand makes a lot of sense since DeBrusk would be swapped for another UFA Boston could use, he’s a natural winger who can play all over and both special teams - back in Canada on good ice and plays with two elite centers in Miller & Petterson

Vancouver should be all over a DeBrusk for Lindholm deal

Get Tampa so they can flip him thru and feel like they did get him after all

Pittsburgh or Dubas has said they wanted a young roster player in return for Guentzel plus pick and prospect and he could replace some of Guentzel goal scoring to a lesser extent plus JDB would play with a line driving centre in Crosby..

Last thought is Dubas has seen DeBrusk first hand burn the Leafs in past so maybe he’s intrigued by acquiring him.
