If we end up with Hanifin we will lead the league in huge defensemen who don’t play physical. I pass unless another one is going somewhere.

Let’s call a spade a spade - they had arguably the toughest player in the game and he decided to throw his reputation, legacy, career, and life down the drainWe need to get tougher.....sorry just wanted to get that out there.
You gotta be Don CherryIf we end up with Hanifin we will lead the league in huge defensemen who don’t play physical. I pass unless another one is going somewhere.
If you are grabbing a butterbeer get the frozen one. Hits on a hot Florida day.Really? Going back tomorrow- grabbed a butter beer waffle cone and went over to Men in Black/ET etc.
If not crazy I’ll definitely check out for lunch tomorrow- the butter beer soft serve waffle cone epic and will get me back
Gringotts ride really good as well
If it's as certain as Elliot Friedman says ,let him stay in Calgary and sign him in the offseason.Hanifin trade probably starts with Lohrei, who should have stayed in Boston instead of being sent down. As much as I'd love Hanifin here it makes more sense to spend on a center instead of D if one is available this offseason. I don't think trading for Hanifin makes sense unless the price tag is lower than we expect. Also doubt Gryz or Forb get moved unless we fall apart in the new year.
Let the kids keep cooking
100% and don't think the Bruins brass doesn't know this as wellIf we end up with Hanifin we will lead the league in huge defensemen who don’t play physical. I pass unless another one is going somewhere.
It was Renaud Lavoie that I heard say it this morning on the FAN590 but maybe Elliot echoed it or maybe he echoed it from Elliot ..but I agree no assets this year for a trade and let him sign in the summer as an UFA ...and again nothing is for certain ..money does indeed talk sometimesIf it's as certain as Elliot Friedman says ,let him stay in Calgary and sign him in the offseason.
I think at some point you gotta address the softness though.Let’s call a spade a spade - they had arguably the toughest player in the game and he decided to throw his reputation, legacy, career, and life down the drain
It is what it is at this point
Play and win and if something opens up go for it it can
You gotta be Don Cherry
If so welcome back
Feels like old times with Noah Hanifin
How ?I think at some point you gotta address the softness though.
Team got bullied in Columbus. (I missed the other 2 afternoon on games on Friday/Saturday, so not gonna mention them)
Sure, they had some push back last night, but against a team that had 6? Road goals all season.
I’d assume Looch is done, gotta fill that hole. Don’t sell the farm on it. But it’s gotta be addressed or B’s are gonna have a rough go in the playoffs
How ?
Who’s good that is available
To me it’s being more accountable
Poitras plays the body they all can
This in a nutshell is pretty much my take on it. Play it out this year unless theres a deal that you just can’t turn down and Keep and eye on Pettersson and hope he hits theHanifin trade probably starts with Lohrei, who should have stayed in Boston instead of being sent down. But that never happens in this league. You have to get more get the guy. The UFA market is all about low and a handful of mid tier guys. This in a nutshell is pretty much my take on it. Im not espousing trading Lohrei for Hanifin but you can’t wait for the summer if you want him.
Didn't Zadarov just get traded to Vancouver? I'm confused.Hanifan ?
I’d rather keep lohrie and go after Pettersson this summer. I agree thou top stars rarely hit the market anymore but if Pettersson doesn’t Nylander just may but If he decides to re-up with the nucks, so be it but until he does he would be my number one option this off season followed by Nylander.
For me it just doesn’t make sense to move lohrie in a deal for hanifan. I’d keep Lohrie and go after Zadarov. He’s big and can play mean and nasty, exactly what the Bruins need in their backend. On top of that he’ll cost less, much less.
I agree with the Lohrei. But Pettersen and Nylander just aren’t going to be available as UFAHanifan ?

We’re not trying to tank we’re trying to contend.I go to the Sharks for Kunin and Burroughs or Ducks for Carrick and Lyubushkin
Sharks right defense is actually looking a little bit clogged. They have Benning, Addison and Emberson as well. I wonder if they would consider moving one and question if they would even qualify Kunin at 3 million.
No big fish this TDL but try to round out the edges of this roster with some tougher players is my path.
I wouldn’t even consider moving Lohrei unless I was blown away with an amazing overpayment. He’s going to be a top pairing. I don’t feel like we need to make a blockbuster move to improve. A tough fourth line winger and a bruiser on the back end.For me Mason L will be a top 4. Getting Hanafin doesn’t address our needs. A number one center is top priority.
Agreed 100%. Obviously a top center would be a great addition, but a couple well placed role players could make a huge impact.I go to the Sharks for Kunin and Burroughs or Ducks for Carrick and Lyubushkin
