Lol

Scanning their roster, those are the UFAs and then you have Mittelstadt. The Sabers AGM wouldn’t view the Bruins roster in b2b games for nothing tho, right?

I guess the big crazy question is if you would move one of the goalies for Mittelstadt and if given history the only answer to that question is if it was Sway.

Mittelstadt makes me think of Craig Janney for some reason.

The Okposo and Girgensons speculation is whatever, but if the rumors are true about Casey Mittlestadt being shopped, that would be intriguing for the Bruins.

Meanwhile, on Friday, former NHLer Andrew Peters said on the “After The Whistle” podcast that the Sabres are actively shopping centre Casey Mittelstadt, who can become a restricted free agent this summer.

“I have heard from a very reliable source that (Sabres GM) Kevyn Adams is shopping Casey Mittelstadt hard; doesn’t want to pay him,” Peters said. “So, I pressed a little bit, and said 'what are they wanting in return.' Didn’t have that information, just knew 'shopping him hard.' And last but not least, but they are looking for a goalie.”

It is unclear if the Bruins have interest in Mittelstadt, or what the price tag is on the 25-year-old.

can you provide the source?

TCB already did post the link.

I dont know if there is any truth behind this but with Buffalo's AGM being here two games in a row something seems to be brewing.

I absolutey can see them get a fourth line rw. I see zero chance that Steen is playing in the playoffs if everybody is healthy. Is Okposo the answer? Could be.

DeBrusk for Mittelstadt could also benifit both teams. This trade would move Zacha to the left wing where I like him better.

Didn’t there used to be a poster here that actually had inside knowledge of what the Bruins were up to? Not the Twitter guys but like a real source that had things happen?

And yes the sources are real as some provide me privately with text screenshots.

Would love tp take a chance on Mittelstadt. Tons of talent and a change of scenery could be just what he needs

feel like the fact that the team was struggling yesterday and Monty's go to move to try and kick start the offense was to put Heinen on the top line is very emblematic of this teams lack of high end skill on offense beyone Pasta and Marchand. Would be nice if they used Poitras going down as an opportunity to get a higher upside kid into the top 9 so try and fix that, but whatever.

theyve been more over the past few years.
Problem is that people expect names before the trades are even announced, and if they hear something they think it is gospel....then when it breaks down, they get nasty and attack since the info was bad...........

Most of us here know that trades and names can not be leaked as that could obviously cause big problems

even bigger issue is that those that were insiders dont claim ‘it’s happening’. So the info in fact wasnt bad. Reading comprehension was.

It worked with Zacha, but Mittelstadt is in a different position where it will cost more on talent to get, and money. He might be a good #2, but I he has done nothing to indicate he is a future #1. He is also poor on the faceoff, and not physical at all

If he can come in and start as the #2 Center, then that gives the Bruins options to slot Coyle down or keep Coyle where he is and slot Zacha over to LW. He might be the best option out there. I'd rather do that than pick up a 4th liner...
