So what is the match with the Sabres? If the AGM is at Bruins games we are talking in division deal that would take pieces off the NHL roster. Not sure that sounds like Greenway?

Edit: I guess to put an exact question to it… everyone knows they are shopping Middlestadt and everyone knows they are looking to fix the goaltending. Is that too big of a trade in the division?

Ugh Greenway, we need an overpaid bottom 6 winger who consistently hoping for more than what he is.

Middlestadt is tough, he is a decent player, and has improved to the point he has moved past the Bust label, but he seems pretty clearly a #2 C

It's kind of nonsense. team is alot bigger than last season and I'm sure will add a depth forward and defenseman. I would go with what they have. The Bruins outhit the Knight and Florida per 60 in last years playoffs, and guys like Geekie and JVR aren't going to be moved around easily. Bruins have as many hits per 60 as Florida this year, more than Tampa and have blocked more shots. Those are the only two remotely physical teams in the east.
I have been a Bruin fan for 50 years, this is easily THE softest Bruins team I have ever seen, not even close. Unless they toughen up they are a one round team, just like last year. That tough also includes players with leadership and willingness to do what it takes to win.

if we are looking for bottom 6 grit, i'd rather get brandon duhaime. great wheels, tough, can PK, big upgrade over steen on 4th line.
Love Duhaime. A tougher version of Lauko.

Marchand on the top of his game. This team has a great 2 year window. Middleton and Vatrano for me. I know it will be tough but JVR can’t be in the top 6.
JVR in the top six is not the answer. He's a tough player to hide because he isn't very efficient 5v5. He only has 3 goals at even strength on the year.

They need to find another top six forward and a way to get Beecher back up centering the 4th line. The offense has kind of dried up since the break. 1 goal against the flames, a goose-egg against the Caps, four against the Canucks but two were shorthanded gifts and Geekie's was some sort of sorcery. They just need another boost, someone to drive play...kind of like how Poitras would give us life at time with his playmaking.

Give me a ten game trial for Lysell

Marchand Coyle Pastrnak
Debrusk Zacha Lysell
JVR Frederic Geekie
Lauko Beecher Heinen

Sabres Assistant GM Jason Karmanos has taken in Boston’s last two home games and could be keeping tabs on some of the Bruins’ players.

According to TFP’s Shawn Hutcheon, the Bruins may have interest in Sabres veteran forwards Kyle Okposo and Zemgus Girgensons, both of whom are playing on expiring contracts and are eligible to become unrestricted free agents July 1.

Sabres defenceman Erik Johnson could also be on the move ahead of the March 8 trade deadline, but as TFP’s David Pagnotta reported in his column on Friday, Buffalo is expected to consult with him on potential landing spots, if dealt.

“I have heard from a very reliable source that (Sabres GM) Kevyn Adams is shopping Casey Mittelstadt hard; doesn’t want to pay him,” Peters said.

has nothing to do with better. They currently dont have the cap $$$ for Beecher. Boqvist is cheaper and fits cap.
Sad that this team is in such pickle that two prospects that make less than a million dollars and only have 200 thousand cap difference is such a problem. I think the time has come for Sweeney and company start to address this problem, and I am not saying it will be easy, but two real stinkers out of three too start a 7 game homestand should be of concern. I overall have there have been a great reach back for more effort from these players, and you have Pasta, Coyle, Zacka and others that were told they weren't good enough to be top 2 centers, but just went out and accepted the challenge thats the type of player I think we all like. I think Beecher and Boqvist belong this team, are we missing Beecher on the PK? Come boys get creative and get this well deserved team some help.......

I believe he could join a team for the playoffs? Exactly what this team needs! Big dude to boot!

Maxim Tsyplakov, 25, has been lights out in the KHL (Kontinental Hockey League) this year, scoring 22 goals, 32 points through 48 games with Spartak Moskva in Russia.

There have been four teams confirmed as interested in the goal scorer, with a decision to likely be made when Spartak's season ends at the end of February.

Flyers won 3 in row against good teams and Calgary 4

Love to see our next GM use those blueprint/models

They play hard and care

Rumor is that Boston is interested in Okposo and Girgensons from Buffalo. I would like Duclair from the Sharks. He shouldnt be that expensive and is capable to play on the third line.
Rumour from where?

These are $2.5M cap hits that are providing little to nothing. Okposo I suppose is leadership, but... Yikes. Considering that we have to clear space to bring these guys in, I'm not sure they give us anything we don't already have more and better of.

Hathaway is a difference maker, maybe we can add him for a cup push
I am Hathaway I ever see Sam Bennett or Matt Tkachuk on the street I would not care if they were in Disney with family in line for Tea Cups I walk up smile reach out to shake hands and knee them right in the balls

lol

Pure bullshit

The media as 0.0 knowledge what’s going on

They have a job to do so I get it / make up something

Watching Arthur Blank do an impromptu from home to say pick the % Bill Belichick was never offered the coaching or any position with Atlanta - all made up

Grz for Okposo maybe? We get rid of a contract that's expiring anyway, get a fairly productive ( for his role ) right shot forward for the bottom 6, and save a little bit of money for something bigger ( Hanafin ). He's not the banger we'd all like for that 4th line but he's a talent upgrade over Steen. I'd prefer a different 4th liner than Okposo though as well as a 4h line center who can win faceoffs.

Lauko -- Frederic -- Geekie

Heinen -- Boqvist -- Okposo

Duhaime would be great. I'd also love Maroon too. Idk if he's good anymore but my brother won't ever shut the f*** up about him since he's a Tampa fan and I'd want him to have some success here so I can throw it back in his face.

Bruins can’t trade for anyone at this point. They have a bare cubbard and no decent picks coming. I ride this team out and regroup next year. Fools gold to waste more assets. They went for it big last year. They have also wasted other assets previously.
The 2025 first + one of Lysell/Lohrei is a legitimately good baseline for a package that can get a good player at the deadline if they want. Friedman believes they were heavily in on Lindholm, and only dropped out cause they couldn't negotiate an extension beforehand.

Whether they should trade premium assets is another story, but they clearly can and are willing to if the right deal comes along.
