Brutally honest, I like it!You don't win a cup with guys playing over their head for a entire season in such a critical position. He is a black hole at the dot as well, losing face offs in the Ozone is bad enough, lose in your end it will end up costing a series
So lets add another third line player just because? Keep up the good work
Yeah, huge pass.Just get tyler Johnson for a 5th round pick 2026. Forget the expensive stuff.
That's the right attitude to haveit's been really nice in Providence. I really enjoyed my time there."
"EnjoyED?" He doesn't expect to be going back???
That's an easy one: Ottawa game January 25th.I think you are placing the importance of the refs in game determination way, way too high.
If there is an incorrect call on an actual goal, that would be big. But that doesn't happen anymore. They can watch replay. Bad (from fans view) penalty calls don't determine outcome. They don't change the score of the game. And they are judgement calls, not cut and dry like a goal being scored.
I can't recall the last time I thought the outcome of a Bruins game was directly determined by the refs.
he is 5 mil,Just get tyler Johnson for a 5th round pick 2026. Forget the expensive stuff.
Not all burgers are the same, not all hits are either. Shawn Thornton logged tons of hits as a Bruin, they had the effect of a mosquito bite. McAvoy on the other hand hits with purpose. Hitting is a skill, not all players “hit” equallyIt's kind of nonsense. team is alot bigger than last season and I'm sure will add a depth forward and defenseman. I would go with what they have. The Bruins outhit the Knight and Florida per 60 in last years playoffs, and guys like Geekie and JVR aren't going to be moved around easily. Bruins have as many hits per 60 as Florida this year, more than Tampa and have blocked more shots. Those are the only two remotely physical teams in the east.
Brutally wrong as well, if 51% constitutes being a "black hole" in the face-off dot.Brutally honest, I like it!
Not a bad idea, but Detroit is currently a playoff team. My guess is they'd be looking to add, not sell.Thoughts about Mantha as a rental? Had a rough few years, but rn he's on pace for like 25+ goals almost all at 5v5, with good defensive underlying numbers too. Would need full retention, but I think he might end up going pretty cheap at the deadline and then make a big impact for someone in a middle 6 role.
Mantha got traded to the Caps like 3 years agoNot a bad idea, but Detroit is currently a playoff team. My guess is they'd be looking to add, not sell.
100 % agreeThat's an easy one: Ottawa game January 25th.
That works too. Get him, Middleton, and Sam Carrick from Anaheim. Add three guys that have more hits this year than anyone on our current roster.if we are looking for bottom 6 grit, i'd rather get brandon duhaime. great wheels, tough, can PK, big upgrade over steen on 4th line.
LOL. That was a brain fart on me...Mantha got traded to the Caps like 3 years ago
what could go wrong with picking up a PF in decline at age 30 under control foreverGo Big...
