$16M if you trade Ullmark. Lysell is playing in the NHL next year.

Where is the cap issue here?

Sure if you can get them for $7.5 and $6.5.

Hanifin just rejected a $7.5m deal and swayman probably isn’t giving a discount after last years arbitration.

Still ideally need a #1 center too. Sure you can slot Coyle there and he’s been good this year but they need a legit #1 guy

Watch the whole thing, if you dare.

Again, Haggerty talks too much. Conor Ryan and Mick Colageo guest.

Listen to what all three have to say as to whether the Bruins are physical enough to win in the post-season.

Spoiler alert,

They ALL think the team is not nearly physical enough. I enjoyed this. All three are spot-on. Nice to hear this from three guys of this stature.

We need to look to Minnesota for trades. It’s more roll players we need and not snipers/goalies.

Middleton injury/sickness prone way more than Carlo
Made the top 5....

Carlo so underrated here
Every GM in the league would trade the naming rights to their first born for A 6'6" shutdown, top 4 RD that you can give like 30% ozone starts and deploy almost exclusively against the other teams best players. But we're moving him cause Wotherspoon has looked good in a third pair role for like 20 games.

I see Middleton as an upgrade over Wotherspoon and a healthier alternative to Forbort. I'm on the fence about this one, especially with Wotherspoon getting more reps and playing like a solid bottom pairing guy.

Hanafin is big upgrade over Grz. IMO, it's going to cost Lohrei plus. Definately on board with this one.

Carlo should and will stay. He's part of the nucleus of the D and when he's playing well, Boston dominates games.

Lohrei was sitting to our left

i agree on Middleton, however, i would focus on a tough LW to replace Steen who’s just to small come playoffs

I like OBrien. He’s a bit wild but he’s a viscious forechecker and will make D antsy with back to play

Ducks had a scout at game last night and they got that tough Russian LD

Much as I hate the guy, Pat Falloon could be grabbed with Middleton. Solves two playoff issues.

I’m GM

I assume I already know from his agent if he wants Bruins and would resign

If yes we are getting him sonner or later

I’m not trading Lohrei or Lysell (Lysell is going to be very good - watched him again last night he’s come a long way. He’s become a dangerous playmaker off off the wing who plays all over the offensive zone not just perimeter. He’s a stud)

No Hanifin …..on to Middleton

loved him on Sharks

good Irishman and plays on my Sim team

It's kind of nonsense. team is alot bigger than last season and I'm sure will add a depth forward and defenseman. I would go with what they have. The Bruins outhit the Knight and Florida per 60 in last years playoffs, and guys like Geekie and JVR aren't going to be moved around easily. Bruins have as many hits per 60 as Florida this year, more than Tampa and have blocked more shots. Those are the only two remotely physical teams in the east.

So you are down to McAvoy and Shatty as the only 2 lefty defensemen on the team.

Assume you are trading Lohrei away as there is no place for him moving forward??

Middleton (fixes missing snarl) for Gryz (flipped) + Lysell etc

Hanifin (extended) for Carlo++ (Mr. Reliable for injury-prone Carlo w concussion history)

Wotherspoon extended 4 years and in top 6

McAvoy
Hanifin
Lindholm
Middleton

Wotherspoon
Forbort
Shatty

Best top 4 in world with that.
I would consider your first proposal, maybe try and work Duhaime into the package, You second proposal, I will apologize up front for being so blunt but that deal sucks, Carlo is constantly ripped for not hitting enough, when Hanifin hits a lot less, Carlo has never in his career been a negative in the plus minus department, that does not hold true for Hanafin. Rumor has it that Hanafin wants 8 mil a year double what Carlo gets. Do not trade for him, not worth the assets, if come July he wants to move off the 8 mil then have a conversation, unless he can fall in your lap Taylor Hall style WAIT!
I have liked the Wotherspoon, game so far, but tone down your expectations without a little more track record from him. I also would not mind Middleton but him being in the top 4 does not make your D all world.....

If they Bruins deal Carlo for a guy they can sign for only money in 5 months and Lysell for Middleton I would check myself into a rehab, because the drug problem (no drugs for me currently) I would have after would be epic.
Pastrnak & Lysell at RW would be fun

Carlo isn’t being traded

Gryz + Forbort for 6.75

Hanifin + Lorhei for 8.925

The cap is going up 4 million.

Bergeron/Krejci coming off the books is another 4 million.

There are obviously other expenses coming like Swayman’s raise, but I don’t think spending an extra 2 million on the D group when 8 million is getting added to their max cap would kill them.
can probably get him for 7.5
