they can ltir Poitras and call up beecher whenever they want thoughhas nothing to do with better. They currently dont have the cap $$$ for Beecher. Boqvist is cheaper and fits cap.

There's only one scenario that I can see where not putting Poitras on LTIR yet so they can carry an extra body makes sense, and I really don't like it.I asked @DominicT about that. Haven’t responded yet. Reason I asked is that if its that simple I don’t understand why hasn’t happened yet. I simply feel like Im missing something.
That's an easy one: Ottawa game January 25th.
Seems a but much to max ACSL lower than Looch does though no?There's only one scenario that I can see where not putting Poitras on LTIR yet so they can carry an extra body makes sense, and I really don't like it.
BUT if they were planning on bringing back Looch after his trial, waiting until he's activated off LTIR so you can reset the ACSL and maximize the pool from LTIRing Poitras makes sense.

idk, but I truly can't think of any other reason to wait on LTIRing Poitras unless they expect to be activating Looch off of it in the near future. Otherwise you're just choosing to run a 22 man roster when you could carry 23 for no real reason.Seems a but much to max ACSL lower than Looch does though no?
Well that may be true…if Lucic is rolling of for whatever reason then Poitras let’s them resetidk, but I truly can't think of any other reason to wait on LTIRing Poitras unless they expect to be activating Looch off of it in the near future. I just read his trial date is set for February 16th. Going to be a bad week for Lucic, Lucic family and closest friends, and bruin fans.I doubt we see Looch back. Even trial aside because he’s in the Player Assistance program only the league can release him from that and make him available for play.
Im hoping maybe some cap relief if he comes of ltir while he stays in assistance program.
No way!I have a couple friends that are Wild fans and they think it’s hilarious how much this place pines for Middleton. Nice player but not anywhere near what people have him pumped up to be here.
Way! One lives in Eden Prairie and the other is in Edina. The dude in Edina has an awesome backyard rink and his wife makes awesome crocheted cozies. No way!

He has 2 yrs control at 2.3 if memory correct .I do not think Bruins go that route though because his control ups the ante which Bruins need to avoid this trade deadline unless it's a move that fixes centre hole long term .Boston is not in position to waste assets on fringe pieces is my take.Way! I’m sorry you don’t have friends below the Arctic Circle. But I have a wide hockey net for a few reasons. None of them romantic.Brian's trying to tell me that in addition to the number of girls in the Niagara Falls area…

He’s a third pair defenseman - and a pretty good one at that.He has 2 yrs control at 2.3 if memory correct .I do not think Bruins go that route though because his control ups the ante which Bruins need to avoid this trade deadline unless it's a move that fixes centre hole long term .Boston is not in position to waste assets on fringe pieces is my take.
Yeah, the Bruins won in OT but if not for the lopsided PP's the Sens wouldn't have gotten a point IMO. The game was put on a silver platter for the Sens. It was so bad that in my memory I didn't even remember the fact that the B's "won" it in OT. Bruins got 18 minutes of penalty time, Sens got 8. From what I remember the timing of the PP's was the most telling part. You may want to check that.
Mittelstadt? Sabres are listening to offers on him, and we know the Bruins were willing to spend big to add center depth since they were in on Lindholm. Not much else on that Sabres team that'd be realistically available that I have any interest in.So what is the match with the Sabres? If the AGM is at Bruins games we are talking in division deal that would take pieces off the NHL roster. Not sure that sounds like Greenway?
I would actually like them to get Kastelic from Ottawa. Decent at the dot, rough and tumble player. Offensive black hole this year but would be adding grit cheaply more than likely.Beecher can’t be any worse than Boqvist can he?
Yeah could see him and or Erik Johnson.Jordan Greenway seems like he’d fit in with our over 6’2 nice guy’s club. I mean he has One fight this year, so he’d have to work on it a little bit.
Cubbard?Bruins can’t trade for anyone at this point. They have a bare cubbard and no decent picks coming. I ride this team out and regroup next year. Fools gold to waste more assets. They went for it big last year. They have also wasted other assets previously.
Agree. Maybe a 4th liner but that’s probably it.Bruins can’t trade for anyone at this point. They have a bare cubbard and no decent picks coming. I ride this team out and regroup next year.
