Andreas Martinsen played around 150 NHL games.Have we developed any good Euros other than one year of Rantanen? I'm happy letting the Euros get developed in their own leagues.
12 points in 9 games. O’Dette was always going to rely heavy on him this year. That was the plan all along.Jeremy Hanzel is fantastic but they really need to stop making him play 30 mins a game.
What's the deal with Ritchie? Still hasn't played a game yet.
I thought he was "close" during training camp, still hasn't played a game a month later now.Google says shoulder injury
Avs probably don't even know themselves since Bednar has no clue if Francouz is out for the entire season lol. But he did play the entire last season with an injured shoulder leading to him receiving hits and dishing hits constantly. Those take longer to heal than him getting the surgery right off the bat when he originally got injured. I do remember reading some reports someplace that Oshawa was expecting him back sometime in November. Not sure if that would be early, mid, or late November.I thought he was "close" during training camp, still hasn't played a game a month later now.

It would be nice, but several things point in the other direction... For one, we won't be the only team calling him about a similar job. Second, we probably won't be the highest bidder for his services given our notorious cheapness in the front office. And third, we just hired Klippenstein to be head scout, the Avs loyalty MO means we will probably give him a good deal of rope before we replace him even if it's a clear upgrade.Sooo any chance we can nab Dorion as our head scout..? Ottawa has been great at drafting for the last decade outside of top 10 picks and we could certainly use that to help prolong our window as long as possible.
Avs ain't firing their head scout after just hiring like two drafts ago. Definitely hire Dorion as an amateur or pro scout though, let him choose.Sooo any chance we can nab Dorion as our head scout..? This is the right way to conduct business though. I really don't want our FO to turn into Vegas all of a sudden. It would be nice, but several things point in the other direction... Oh I agree, I think the way the Avs do things pays dividends in the long run. But it does make it a lot less likely that they would ask him to step aside for Dorion, nor would he be likely to accept anything less than the director of amateur scouting title after being a GM.This is the right way to conduct business though. He was never close, it was always going to be a 6 month recovery.I thought he was "close" during training camp, still hasn't played a game a month later now.

Mid May, he had it right after the U18Ritchie said in mid July that he was 2 months into a 4-6 month timeline. So depending on when his surgery was (can't find a date) sometime in November would be 6 months.
Hopefully they're just playing it safe.
