That MIN-BOS trade ain't a blockbuster one, but it does represent an exchange of significant talents. I guess that's the new norm in a "best of the best" hockey league.

I thought the purple heart was to honor those wounded or killed in battle. Is this "Valentine" a sign that the PWHL is gonna amp up the physicality?

Purple in the original LGBTQ flag represents "spirit". In this century, colour purple became used to raise awareness of LGBTQ bullying.

It has also been used to show solidarity with women's sports teams that are involved in issues about pay, working conditions etc..

Thanks for the modern history lesson. I'll add that purple is also the colo(u)r chosen by certain mental health organizations to represent recovery, hope, and advocacy for individuals facing mental health challenges.

1st US national broadcaster. Lots of streaming options including Roku, Freevee and more.
WSN certainly does have the streaming horsepower & bandwidth to connect the PWHL to key market segments. I'll be interested to see how much longer the League's partnership with You Tube will last.⌛

I'm thinking through this season
I just subscribed to WSN to assess the product quality tonight. I'm cautiously optimistic. :crossfing

ETA: Turns out there are LOTS of streaming products that use the abbreviation "WSN". So it took the usual 10 minutes of pressing remote buttons to enter "Women's Sports Network" on the $&^%#@! soft keyboard of my so-called smart TV. :ha:
