You take whoever the best player is. No guarantee Cutter is a high end first line player, although I did really like him in the draft and the potential of him and McTavish together is something I really want to see

A lot of our junior prospects are either injured or were still at the WJC this past week.

- Smith: Was traded to Owen Sound. Seems to have found a scoring touch with the new team while also pummeling a guy in game.

- Hvidston: 3 games; 2g + 3a = 5 pts

New addition to the team via recent trade in Cutter Gauthier. Welcome Cutter!

- Francis: He's finally back from Leukemia! Congrats to Will!

- Colangelo: 2 games; 2g + 0a = 2pts, and +2 rating

- Callow: 2 games; 1g + 1a = 2 pts, and +1 rating

- Gauther: Helped team USA win gold at the WJC-20. Tied for most assist at the tourney, won best forward recognition, and is a WJC-20 All-Star, per IIHF.

- Clara: 1 game; incrementally improved Sv % and GAA

- Dostal: 2 games, is back over 0.900 Sv %!

Pretty quiet on the score sheet.
- LaCombe played 1 game.
- Minty played 3 games.

The Gulls only played a game this week b/c the Bakersfield arena had a water main problem and postponed two games this weekend. They lost 3-6 to Henderson Silver Knights.

- Tracey: 1g + 0a = 1 pt ... He's still putting up points! Tracey has 11 points in the past 11 games.
- Wiebe: 1g + 0a = 1 pt
- Lopina: 0g + 1a = 1 pt
- Nesterenko: 0g + 1a = 1pt
- Zellweger: 0g + 1a = 1 pt

They have three games this week: 10th vs Cochella, 12th vs Iowa, and 13th vs Iowa.

Leo will fill out and will be tougher to play against than Mac, imo. Leo has shown he's pushing and hitting people, he's just not filled out yet so impact is smaller. Mac is filled out but smaller and he's actually not engaging that much, he's just hard to push off the puck.

Wish I was into the college circuit. I have family that live 20 min away from the BU area. I could have access to prospects and their games but I’m just not interested.

Pitre added a goal. Dionicio somehow doesn't have a point even though Saginaw is up 10-3. That Saginaw team is really stacked now that they've added Donovan and Beck.

EDIT: Pitre was also named captain of Flint, which I assume they decided to do after the OHL trade deadline passed with him still on the team.
