I believe Martin Madden had a quote a while back that indicates Buteyets may come over to play for SD as soon as the end of this season, I’d categorize him as “possibly coming to NA”.

What happened to Kukkonen? He had a very solid 18 goal 7 assist freshman year but by just stat gazing has significantly regressed.

IMO, Kukkonen isn't put in a position to succeed. He's playing further down the lineup and has to re-imagines how he needs to play.

This is similar to Colangelo's junior season. In his sophomore season, Colangelo broke out big time and we were hoping he's continue to build upon it. In his junior season, Colangelo was separated from his usual linemates and played lower in the lineup. That's why Colangelo decided to switch schools at the end of his junior season from Northeastern to Western Michigan. Colangelo's game has come back to life.

If I were Kukkonen, I'd probably want to switch schools b/c it feels like the team did him dirty. Kukkonen looked good in the dev camp and scored well. There were high expectations for him this year. Western Michigan should be one of the more likeliest destination for Kukkonen if he decides to move on from Mich Tech.

Dionicio already said in interviews he's done with junior hockey. Wanted to play AHL as early as this season. That most certainly falls flat now because he got traded. Will play AHL or in Europe next season depending on where the Ducks want him to play but he'll be done playing juniors after the Memorial Cup.

Get him back with the NHL club for now, at least to get checked over by the team doctors etc

His Q team watching him being held by the Ducks this season must be like:

Hvidston finished with a goal last night.

The whole CHL site (whl, ohl, and qmjhl) wasn't working last night. It's finally running again today. Got a goal and went 9/16 on the dot.

Hvidston's team, Swift Current, was up 2-1 after two periods. Then, they got Anaheimed in the third as they were penalized four times and the opponent had zero penalties called. The opponents scored 3 out of 4 PP in the third and sealed Swift Current's fate.

So who else will get moved in the next week? I feel like Myatovic could get sent to Prince George, as they are competitive and his hometown. Would be good to see as he has had a tough year as a person, not just an athlete. Luneau to Victoriaville also seems likely.

I have no idea if Myatovic has been cleared to play yet. We do know he's back on the ice and skating, though.
