You aren't even claiming ownership over the blatant statements you made. Come on man, that's the least you could do. It's beyond strange to demand counterarguments to things you claim to not even said.

Disingenuous doesn't begin to describe that, it's delusional.
What? You too...please just don't engage me on this topic. I'm done with it. Stick to giving us prospect updates.

You're right...I do have opinions as any normal intelligent informed person should. I posed many questions in my posts on this subject about all the different sports and no one - including you - have provided any counterarguments. Until you are ready to give me those counterarguments please don't engage with me anymore on this subject. Thanks in advance.
You've made no arguments for me to counter, you've advanced flawed premises in support of an argument that you force the reader to guess at. (boys can't fight in hockey but they can go to war is not an argument, e.g.). That MIGHT be argument by principle but I think your ultimate argument is probably "this is just a PC thing and not based on anything real" and you've provided no support for that, so again, nothing to counter.

Basically you're just saying really stupid things as a smokescreen for your idea that PC people are annoyingly interfering with your ability to enjoy the thought of children punching each other, but you should just say that. Because if that's your argument, it's not logical, it's based on your pathos, and there isn't anything for me to say except to critique your character which isn't allowed here, so you're home free!

So be brave and stop doing the weird thing you're doing.

It's amazing how far people go in defending kids fighting.

Anyway, really impressed by Sidorov even if it's his D+2 season. At least he is not being rushed. Could he be the next good later forward pick?

Hvid the kid has scored 5 points in the past three games, 4g + 1a. It took some time for Hvid to get back into scoring mode from his injury, but he's kinda hot like a del scorcho hot packet sauce.
I wonder if a train to WJC for him has left. I think he was not in the preseason camp. But feels like he could do well in the tournament with his versatility, speed, and skill.

You are really lost if you think that avoiding fighting in hockey is the same as being a coward.

edit: Also who the f*** cares what our ancestors would think?

Teaching kids they need to be able to fight their way through life is just as bad as giving participation trophies. It’s not actually teaching kids what real life is like.

Hit a guy as an adult because he said or did something you didn’t like and go to jail. Ya real p***y stuff to not want my kids to end up in jail lol.

Do you go to the store for food? Your ancestors would roll in their grave that you aren’t out there hunting every morning.

The only one out to lunch is you buddy. You’re on some crusade by yourself, while thinking you are some hard individual respected by ancestors while you keyboard warrior from the warmth and comfort of your couch.

The last three pages of this thread are the Thanksgiving dinner of argumentative fallacies. With a snifter of misogyny as a digestif.

Back to our prospects, I really hope Sidorov becomes something. He's exciting to watch.

can this BS be taken to a different thread.

The updates and efforts made to give us news on the prospects makes this one of the most fun threads to check in on.

Go start a head bangers yes/no thread and have at it.

Again Static, thank you for the continued updates, it’s awesome

Prospect Update, Dec 3: Juniors

Dec 3, Juniors.png

- Terrance: This past week, Terrance scored 4 goals and was a +2 rating. Terrance leads his team in scoring and goal scoring. He was also named to team USA's WJC selection camp.

- Pitre: Was 1g + 1a in three games this week. Maintains 1 ppg rate.

- Sidorov: Had 4g + 1a in three games, but -5 rating.

- Hvidston: Took some time to get back into scoring mode. He had 4g + 1a in four games and -1 rating.

- Dionicio: Continues to score! 2g + 1a in 3 games. It's nice to still have an offensive defenseman still in pipeline.

Prospect Update, Dec 3: NCAA

- Colangelo: Was 1g + 1a in two games this past weekend. He's 3rd in in team scoring and 2nd in goal scoring.

- Moore: Was injured last week. Without him in the lineup, the past three games Harvard has been blown out. Just wanted to point this out to show Moore's value to the team despite not scoring a lot as its top pairing d-man.

Dec 3, Europe.png

- Galimov: Scored two goals this past week in three games.

- Sundsvik: Went scoreless in three games.

- Butetyets: Consistent as ever, slightly improving his Sv % and GAA for the past two games this week.

- Clara: Played one game this week and dropped under .900 again.

Dec 3, NHL.png

Weight mgmt guys looking good in Carlsson and Luneau!

- Carlsson: Scored 1g + 2a in two games played last week, inching him closer to 0.80 ppg rate.

- Luneau: Got two games in and scored 1g +1a and a +2 rating. Big test tomorrow as he'll be playing against Colorado on the top line with Fowler.

- Minty: Earned an assist and becomes the top assist producer for rookies.

Prospect Update, Dec 3: AHL and ECHL

Dec 3, AHL.png

Things are slowly turning around in San Diego!

Bad news
- Regenda got injured.

Not so good news
- G Clang's Sv % got rocked and his GAA dipped.

Better news
- Perreault is over 0.80 ppg rate, passing up Regenda and Zellweger as top prospect scorer for the Gulls.

- King: Scored 2 goals in three games this week.

- Gaucher: Scored 2 goals in three games this week too.

- Nesterenko: Went 1g + 4a in three games!

- Tracey: Went 1g + 2a in three games.

=== ECHL ===

- Wiebe: Is a scoring machine with 2g + 2a and a +3 in three games. No wonder why he got called back up!

One Thing: could you please change Hvidston's team's name to "Swift Current"? The city really is called Swift Current and reading just "Swift" instead gives me horrible PTSD from bubblegum pop from hell.
