Roster Notes:
The Sens have seen three players come in or out of the lineup over the past couple of days, including goaltender Kevin Mandolese and forward Zack MacEwen, who were both assigned to Belleville from the NHL Senators this week. Forward Tarun Fizer was assigned to the Club’s ECHL affiliate, the Allen Americans, today. Full lineup details, including tonight’s alignment, will be available before puck drop.
Who to Watch:
Angus Crookshank picked up another trio of points last Saturday against the Comets, registering a goal, two assists and five shots on goal. It was his second three-point game in the last two weeks, after he had a pair of goals and a helper in Grand Rapids on January 27. Garrett Pilon also had three points (two goals, one assist) in Belleville’s win over the Comets last weekend, while Oskar Pettersson scored his first career Amreican Hockey League goal.
Crunch defenceman Declan Carlile, who played a year of junior with the Wellington Dukes in 2017-18, has three assists over his last two games. He made his NHL debut with Tampa Bay in early January and has the second-best plus/minus rating on his team (+11). Meanwhile, goaltender Hugo Alnefelt has picked up at least a point in each of his last seven games (6-0-1-0), the only blemish being the overtime loss to Belleville on February 3.
