Eklund is what he is, I think there is a little more there but we shouldn't expect a huge growth spurt at this point.
It is what grier has said even with the injury it will still be happening.@gaucholoco3 since we have a road back to back coming up you said you think Celebrini will sit for one of them? I dont see a good reason for Celebrini to get any "development days" like Smith. He already just had a break with his injury. I don't think he gets healthy-scratched at any point this season.
It's not that Celebrini needs a break from the league, but the league a break from him!@gaucholoco3 since we have a road back to back coming up you said you think Celebrini will sit for one of them? He still plays a pretty reckless game and skates into high traffic areas and absorbs a lot of contact, he's never played against players this big and strong before and at some point he's going to take a nasty hit that will leave him reeling@gaucholoco3 since we have a road back to back coming up you said you think Celebrini will sit for one of them? Even if waiver priority has reverted to this year's standings the only team "ahead" of us is Nashville who waived him.Shit, since it's November and we're not in last place are we no longer #1 in waiver priority? Luckily we have tons of cap space so we still might have the best chance to grab him
That’s kinda funny.Even if waiver priority has reverted to this year's standings the only team "ahead" of us is Nashville who waived him.

Lol well in this case, Nashville is in last place so it doesn't matter.Shit, since it's November and we're not in last place are we no longer #1 in waiver priority? Luckily we have tons of cap space so we still might have the best chance to grab him
I didn't realize it was based on points percentage, I could see Montreal putting in a claim and they have less points but are ahead of us in p%Lol well in this case, Nashville is in last place so it doesn't matter.
On one hand, he's another soft defenseman to go along with Liljegren and Walman. On the other, he could probably fetch us a pick at the deadline so it would be bad business not to claim.I’d be surprised if the Sharks didn’t claim him.
So a 5th-round pick for what, 1.5 million in real dollars? On one hand, he's another soft defenseman to go along with Liljegren and Walman. On the other, he could probably fetch us a pick at the deadline so it would be bad business not to claim.
Maybe not worth it then. Too bad we didn't just wait to claim Fabbro instead of trading assets for Liljegren. So a 5th-round pick for what, 1.5 million in real dollars?
I'd rather have 3 NHL caliber RHD than 2, Fabbro supplanting Rutta is reason enough to claim him outright, who cares about Hasso's money?Maybe not worth it then. Too bad we didn't just wait to claim Fabbro instead of trading assets for Liljegren.
I'm not sure Fabbro is better than Rutta. It's also another contract slot which could hurt if we're unable to trade him. There are arguments on both sides.I'd rather have 3 NHL caliber RHD than 2, Fabbro supplanting Rutta is reason enough to claim him outright, who cares about Hasso's money?
We're going to be shedding several untradable UFAs at season's end, including Rutta who is a borderline #7 at this point, we'll open up those contract slots soonI'm not sure Fabbro is better than Rutta.
