Do you think the FO is at all considering buying out Nuke's contract?
Not a chance imo. He’d have a very low hit for the first 3 seasons, switching to 3.1M and 5.1M cap hits for the next 4 seasons, then finishing out at 1.8M until the 2036-37 season

Girard for 3OA :sarcasm:

This is gonna be a weird trade especially once all the picks/prospects come out of it as well.

LA dumping Petersen makes a lot of sense but then LA turning around and being the ones to retain salary on Provorov's deal as well is weird. I'm guessing them retaining on Provorov is a way for the cost to dump Petersen to get reduced but I'm going to be very interested to see what the picks/prospects involved in the deal are and what subsequent deals come out of it. Philly trading Hart would make sense after this if they wanted to truly tank for next year. LA likely does sign Gavrikov with the cap space they've freed up in it(I believe even with 30% retention on Provorov they still free up like $6M in space).

Hayes not going to Columbus here perhaps means he's still on the table as an option for us although quite frankly I'd rather get him to be the 3C instead of our 2C given the names available for the 2C this summer.

They could still make a separate deal for Hayes, maybe with a 3rd team involved.

WTF is Jarmo doing again?

Cup contenders (?) Kings retaining 30% on a player traded to bottom dwellers CBJ.
