Armia is a cap dump player and the other players do not make up for it. If we trade G it's to get quality in return, not quantity. We might even add to G to get a single forward that helps us in the top-6.

I know of one player that the Avs have made clear they're willing to do a PTO, but he's a guy who expects to get signed to a 1-way deal over the next couple of months.

Considering that, I'm sure there are other players the Avs have done the same with. Feelers out on PTO deals, probably letting guys know they might offer them a 1-way deal, might not... that kind of thing.

So, for those who don't think we are scraping the bottom of the barrel, we most certainly are. There's no $2m player coming in, IMO. Not without a trade of some salary leaving. Once the Avs sign Colton, it'll be a couple of league-minimum type deals and then bank the cap space until TDL.

Literally no other team is making moves right now, the statement clearly says “in the next few years” and every contender has guys come through the ranks that make an impact on low AAV. Not sure why everyone in here is starting to whine lol

Yeah sure sounds like they are pretty much done with this offseason.

Very disappointing. Not sure why they continue to ignore huge holes every season. Last year it was 2C, this year it's Landy replacement. Essentially we are rolling into next year with the same problem a missing top 6 forward.

Also not sure why they continue to think they can pay 5M to Girard when he doesn't PK and plays 2nd unit PP, and is basically 3rd pairing behind Makar, Toews, Byram and Manson.
