Damn I called it an hour earlyHe has a huge ego and probably thought he'd be offered like 7M X 5 or something...while the offers on the table are like 5M X 1 or 4M X 2.
Move over, Friedman.

It's a pretty good team on paperI'm actually quite impressed at how committed the Sens have been at trying to build a contender, and how shrewd they've been with their moves after Melnyk passed.
Kind of reinforces what many people thought was holding that team back.
Yeah that's quite a solid lineup, if it fails Tank could be a good rental to recoup an asset or two. It's a pretty good team on paper
Stealing this from the Sens board:
Tarasenko - Stützle - Giroux
Tkachuk - Norris - Batherson
Kubalik - Pinto - Sokolov
Joseph - Kastelic - MacEwan
Chabot - Zub
Chychrun - Brännström
Sanderson - Hamonic
Forsberg
Korpisalo

They are lacking a 1st pair RD but they have three LD with first pairing upside. That RD is rough, Zub is good but not 1st pair good. And the goaltending is still a question mark. Forwards are pretty solid though
I bet Chychrun moves to the right side, he has played it in the past. They are lacking a 1st pair RD but they have three LD with first pairing upside.
Move also helps Timmah a bit if thats who he ends up playing with.BTW nice move from Pierre Dorion. People like to bash him and won't recognize his good moves.
Tarasenko should give the Sens most of Debrincat's production next season. Dorion didn't have to give any asset and Tank will do it for a lesser cap hit than Debrincat's.
I don’t get the schen one. I’d have taken him on that deal over Johansson if they had come at the same price![]()

Why the hell would Ottawa want Girard...
They wouldn't haha. I think we're just bored. Why the hell would Ottawa want Girard...
Chabot - Chychrun
Sanderson - Girard
Hamonic - Zub
That's why
I want the Sens to do good, however, that club has two problems and one of them is awful goaltending. Forsberg isn't that good and Korpisalo showed that he's more inconsistent than an eight-year-old going to Toys-r-us for the first time. The other problem is that team has zero defensive ability from the forward group. I don't think the defensive core is that terrible at all, maybe everyone is playing a level above where they should be on the right side. However, this team will leak goals simply because of the cluelessness that will take place with the forwards. Nobody on that first line plays defence, the second line is probably their best defensive line, the third line is zero defensive ability whatsoever, and the fourth line is Joseph with a bunch of junk. It's a pretty good team on paper
