His word? For 2 weeks? Lol

I mean... the Avs knew about his issues and still signed him last year. All a calculated risk that at some point, blows up in your face.

Yes?
Something obviously happened today or yesterday...something that wasn't supposed to happen 2 weeks ago.
Come on man. Galchenyuk has even publicly - seemingly unknowingly - admitted to partying hard and hitting up erotic massage parlours. This is common information that we know as fans. Imagine what GMs know. Arizona looks so stupid here lol.

I mean we employed him last year, and had our coaches talk up his willingness to change his game...we don't exactly look smart in that regard.

Arizona definitely would've had him covered for everything you listed.

Like, how could they not know…?

I don't think you two should assume that they just learned what we all already know.

It isn't about that. It is about them seemingly discovering something about him.

If this is something much more serious, we'll see how it plays out. However, if it is "standard" off ice Galcyenyuk stuff? They look incompetent.

Galchenyuk literally played for the Yotes before, they obviously know about all the common off ice stuff you are referring to. Party, drugs, girls, etc.

That's new, previously unknown, off ice stuff.

There are loads of possibilities here. He coulda went on a bender in the last 12 days since he has been 'clean.' Could be a previously covered up thing is going to have legal issues. Could be he paid for a handy last night. Could be he got in a bar fight two days before signing and charges are being presented. Lots of things could be there and not all of them mean Arizona screwed up. Some of them could. Specific ones could be the Eagles/Avs F'd up. All we know is something is bad enough that he's getting bought out instead of the team dealing with him.

Well, you certainly wouldn't want to ruin the Coyotes organization's pristine reputation around the league and in the Phoenix area...

Not a fan.

They don’t care.

We will find out what happened to Nuke when we find out why Theo Fleury missed game 5 of the Western Conference Finals in 1999.

The Avs bury everything. Anybody who talks get all sources or info cut off. Everybody tows the line. All office hires are usually inexperienced corporate stooges who will smile and nod.

We may not like it, but if you ran a company, wouldn’t you want your company to be this iron clad? Ethics out the window, it means zero bad press.

Yeah so he F'd up after he signed. Coyotes would rather buy him out than deal with his shit.

To be honest, it's a huge part of why I left my last employer. A reason why I'm probably leaving the one I'm out now. Ethics in a work place mean a lot to me anyways. Can't speak for how the Avalanche run things, but I'm sure turnover is quite high in that environment, and if it's not yet, it will be soon.

Billionaires have a ton of interesting things in their closet. There's a reason no one has really been implicated from Epstein and Maxwell yet. It's a huge stain on society, but I totally understand its real and happens all around.

At this point even after the Nuke issue, it's been hard to be a fan of the organization. I think as the players move on and away I'm not sure how I'll look at hockey as a sport. Probably far more from a player perspective, even then though... don't meet your heroes.
