I'm glad the guy was suspended. Was it a first offence for that guy? Sadly this kind of thing is part of the hockey culture. And btw, every sport has high emotions. Why is it ok in only hockey to assault opponents... And for what? Performing well...?

Most classy sport played by the most classy players bruh.

Roobroeck had an assist, was +2 and had 2 SOG.

BMB missed his tenth straight game with the concussion.

Barbashev with an assist. Unfortunately he's at just 6-6-12 in 18 games for Rimouski.

Ollas didn't play. That's four straight games, which, given he has alternated starts with Borgiel for two years now, makes you wonder if he's hurt.

Perreault had two assists. Originally he had three assists but they changed one of those goals to unassisted.

Lamb had a goal. He's up to 9-7-16 in 21 games; last season he had 8 points in 39 games so he has basically doubled his production in half the games.

Hes a non prospect at this point.

Lamb OTOH is having a pretty good year on a team that is having a tough go this year.

Yeah Barbashev looks like he's heading for a minor league contract rather than an ELC. Disappointing as he had made some progress last season.

Lamber is having a very nice season. Coming into the game he was fourth in both goals and points on the team, behind Snuggerud, Bryce Brodzinski who is 23 and in his 5th year, and Rhett Pitlick who will be 23 in a month.

You hope Laba Berard or Lamb work out because otherwise, the last player outside the first 2 rounds we hit on was Morgan Barron.

We've done a dreadful job of drafting depth players in the later rounds.

I think Chmelar has been doing really well with Providence College.....two years with the Czech WJC team too and he looked good there. He's 6'5 and 220 lbs. and he skates really well.

Henricks was a late June 2005 birthday in last year's draft. That was on the very young side of things. Next year he's scheduled to start his freshman year at Western Michigan U. That's a good program for him to grow in and I think he's going to need probably 3 years but he's another big kid at 6'4 and about 215 already. For a 6th rounder it's an intriguing pick IMO. He did pretty well in our development camp. If I remember right he scored twice in the first scrimmage.

Laba had good size too and plays with an edge. That he can score at the college level, has size and is competitive are things that I appreciate. Good of face-offs too but we'll see.

BMB unfortunately has been out with the concussion. Another 6'2 guy close to 200 lbs. Good all around game.

Fortescue will be eligible for the USA WJC team next year again. Buium is the only other USA D from this year who can return so I would think Fortescue barring injury is almost a shoo in. I look at that as a big deal and I'm kind of getting the idea he was a steal. I don't think he's going to be a big point producer but a steady top 4 NHL defenseman might be possible.

......and Perreault has just been fantastic. So we've got a lot of potential in our unsigned prospect forward group.

I think Mancini and Lamb are doing pretty well too.

Chmelar was pretty recently injured and required surgery, right? Despite that, he’s still had a nice sophomore year, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go pro after his junior year.

Whatever happened with Vaisanen? I remember seeing him have really good u20 stats, but I guess it’s taken him time to adjust to Liiga if it’s not just him playing in a minimal role

Yeah, cut by a skate blade and severed a tendon iirc.

I'd like to see both him and Laba go pro after this year.
