I had FLA winning Cup after beating Bruins and nothing has changed. They should win it. I wouldn't be surprised if they win in 5.

As I have always said, their is a lot of luck involved in hockey, far more then the other major sports. That being said Edmonton is going to need the hockey gods to be heavily on their side to win.

Great points to be sure. Butterfly effect and all that stuff. But dont you agree that from a "truculance" (is that really even a word?) point of view - wouldn't you agree that it would be a he11 of a matchup?!

Would definitely be a good matchup. I didn’t say anything to the contrary on that point.

Yet they won.

Gotta love this multi universe shit.

Donnie and missing the point

Well there goes my last vaguely rooting interest. The story line will be McDavid, blah blah blah, McDavid…ad naseum :( Can’t say I’m going to be glued to the TV….let’s go Celtics!

A Panthers/Oilers final makes me happy that I ducked out of watching after Game 4.

Gun to my head? I'm cheering for an Alien Invasion.
I got no problem with it. Both teams earned it. Edmonton was a corpse back in November but they changed things up and showed a lot of heart. They went through LA, Vancouver and Dallas. Not like they had an easy ride…

Whatever.

All I know is they gave up the 4th fewest goals per game in the regular season and the 2nd fewest in the playoffs…..so there’s that.
They played one of the two weakest PO Teams in LA round one and a not ready for Primetime Vancouver team. Not impressed at all. That D Corp and Skinner will crumble against a legit Cup contender. Dallas with Suter and Tanev were never winning a Cup.

I'm as excited about an Oilers/Panthers Stanley Cup Final as I would be to watch a best of seven habs/leafs exhibition games

..both teams have such unlikable players......and fans
