Kovacevic doesn’t have a long term future with this team. Or who do you think makes room for reinbacher, Hutson etc etc etc

Guhle
Barron
Matheson
Reinbacher

Locks next year. Then imo Harris and xhekaj are ahead of kovacevic. Struble, maillaux coming. Anyways.
I doubt very much Reinbacher is a lock next season. He needs AHL time to acclimatize to the NA game. No way we make the same mistake again.
If all goes very well he will be a call up towards season's end. Put it this way. I did not get the same vibes I had watching Guhle in his first camp.

Dach, Savard, Harris, RHP... 4 opening-day regulars out for long-term injuries before we hit the 20-game mark.

And Laval is also experiencing multiple injuries to key players. And now, with Struble and Norlinder with the big club, they are running short on D-men. + I don't understand how come the org was unable to find a decent AHL level vet goalie to help Dobes and Mann.

Real bad for both RHP and Harris, who are both trying to establish NHL careers. Their potential replacements (on the farm or currently on the tream) may overtake them on the pecking order if they seize the opportunity.

How about “if you’re injured stop and heal before injuring yourself more”.

I personally question some of the « Laine too old, get what you can for Monty Monahan is trade bait » type comments. You need to keep and acquire some good pieces too. Suck breeds suck. There’s a difference between trading hopefuls for vets on a strech playoff hope and building long term by also trading for core pieces… I agree being constantly outmatched in xp, talent and strength would lead to more injuries (and limit development).
You pick up vets to help out on the up slope of a rebuild. That is when they are needed for guidance.

Yeah but kids they live with their moms til they’re 30 these days lol… Hoping next year all these 20 somethings start challenging each other for spots (and don’t bow a knee to kick off the season) and the gameplay shows it.
