Crickets eh.....................for some reason no news coming from Montreal, is not good news.
Same shoulder as last year, or the other one??
Not good news................Cap friendly has him on IR?
Thanks to a useless fight with Desharnais last season.

He got hit at one point yesterday and I cringed. This guy won't make it to trade deadline, so I hope they try to trade him soon instead.
Monahan isn’t a player you give up when he’s healthy. The problem is, he never is and potential buyers are aware of this. Anyone thinking if manages to be healthy at the time of TDL, he’ll bring us back a giant hall are probably delusional. His health will play into his value.

I thought it was the other shoulder. But no news feels like bad news.

Shouldn't team set a time table for players' return once he is placed on ER?

I agree with Bacchus... no news feels like very bad news.

It's just a case of roster management. He was only put on IR so they could recall another forward, it doesn't necessarily mean that his injury is worse than they thought.

They placed him on IR so they could call up Armia. I have a positive feeling that he will be back soon but then again, we are talking about the Schleprocks of hockey.

What else is new?

And it's not just the injury bug. It's injuries to players we want to actually watch. Last year, guys like Guhle, Caufield, Slaf, Xhekaj, Dach and in Laval, Mysa & Simoneau. All were out for a good while and some had their seasons over.

This year, it continues to be players you really want to watch and be excited about: Dach, Heineman, Xhekaj, RHP, Harris, and now Farrell.

I respond to these from now on, with LMFAO! As soon as you become part of this organization, bang! Major injury. I’m way past shocked

And of course, when they have 3 goalies in the nhl for the first time ever, none of them get hurt. Not yet at least.

Newhook "incident" is the perfect example of injury prone player vs durable one.
Newhook: played 82 games last season no prior history of injuries... full knee bending but came back immediately.
If something like that happens to Dach, he's out for the season.

It's not that we are cursed, we just need to acquire more durable players.

I suppose all these injuries are the fault of the new medical team?

I don't think this will age well.

Some good news. Heineman, Bouque & Maillet have gotten the green light and they traveled to Abbotsford with the team.

He came back next shift. Did he leave the game?

Newhook fell behind the net in the 3rd period and his foot got tangled in the mesh of the net. And he needed help to get off the ice and to walk to the dressing room.
