Some good news. Heineman, Bouque & Maillet have gotten the green light and they traveled to Abbotsford with the team.

Newhook fell behind the net in the 3rd period and his foot got tangled in the mesh of the net. And he needed help to get off the ice and to walk to the dressing room.
Watching this organization is like watching a Final Destination movie. No matter what you do, the injury god wins in the end!

Every time the team starts winning too much for the good of the future, the injury gods take someone out.

At this point, if it's nothing serious but keeps Newhook out for a little while, it won't affect his career long term and will, in point of fact, be really good for the tank. They suck, but if I'm looking for a positive, the Dach and Newhook injuries could help us get a big talent in the draft who could help us contend in 3, 4, 5 years..

Heinemann back in Laval... Farrell out indefinitely

1/4 of the season in, 6 opening day NHL roster players on IR....

Time to bulldoze the bell centre and put this curse to rest
Was just coming by to see if Heineman was back, that's good news at least

Why are we cheering injuries when this team isn't good enough to win games healthy

Kinda bumming to see this scenario happen year after year. I’m not superstitious but I’m starting to believe in the curse… We simply can’t have nice things. Our young players get hurt long term during a crucial phase of their development over and over. I’m discouraged.

Edit : a few forgotten words…

Absolutely cursed.

His speed was one of his absolute strengths, hopefully this doesn't hinder that too much.

sigh

Only saying this because I am a Chiefs fan but Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl last season playing with a high ankle sprain. Obviously it's a different sport but I think 10 weeks is overly pessimistic. Maybe after what happened last year they don't want to take chances.

I thought it was going to be worse than this. A 10-12 weeks absence would have him back by mid-February which is a long injury sure but I feared something Dache-esque
