Never played the ball, red.

And they missed another one
I really don't see that as a red and I haven't seen a similar challenge get a red either.

The Carlos one is interesting, he wasn't looking backwards when he ended up elbowing Gil. VAR cleared that one from what I've heard.

So the City trial date is October/November 2024, and verdict can be expected in the summer of 2025. And if City appeal any possible penalty, it will take another year or two.

So by then it'll be 26/27 or 27/28 season.

Oof, that is plain ridiculous

Absurd. When were these charges first brought? They’re going to be going damn near a decade to adjudicate this…?

Thomas Partey by the way. Supposedly he's kept doing it despite being under investigation.

Two of his five accusers have told the BBC that what allegedly happened to them could have been prevented if he had been suspended after the police began investigating claims against him or following his arrest.

Awful look for Arsenal. Enabling a rapist.

What is the likely scenario? Pep will be gone by then (maybe?)?
Put City into a lower league? They'd dominate the league and be right back.
Fine them? Would that even do anything?

What penalty could be imposed that will actually hurt them? Ban from europe for *** however long?

Fine 'em, transfer ban, relegate out of the league system. They may get promoted immediately, but they're going to lose a lot of players who don't want to play Solihull Moors just to play Doncaster the next season. Now, they probably have enough money to keep some players and they have a strong youth system to fall back on, but it'll definitely set them back, especially if they can't bring in players for a few windows.

They are massive.....ly delusional that they've done nothing wrong.
Like Bruno saying blowing their two goal lead isn't on nana and is on the team

If they did get relegated would they have to lower player wages?
That'd force out a few.

You lot bought Bissouma while he was still under investigation so what are you complaining about? Partey always injured anyway and will be sold soon.

Until they're promoted back, they'll probably have all their top players playing at their other non-European clubs, who will most likely invited to participate at the European Champions League by then.

Wait, they think him being suspended from the team would have stopped his actions? I find that claim dubious without additional information. Obviously that doesn't mean Arsenal shouldn't have suspended him, I'm just not sure how those dots are connected.

If the players agree to that.
