I mean, I’d take the video games over advocating for people like Antony and Greenwood
I’d love to see them explain why the Romero handball against United wasn’t awarded as a pen.

Sure. Playing video games and showing up late to meetings is not as bad as beating/raping women. That’s objectively true.

I’m also not sure why it’s relevant when discussing if ETH is a dickbag in relation to Sancho.

He might well be a giant dickbag overall, but I don’t see any issues with how he’s handled Sancho and it seems clear it’s a Sancho issue and not an ETH issue given it’s extended across multiple years, multiple managers, and multiple teams.

I mean yeah… but that’s not really the point here. ETH may be an asshole, but he’s done nothing asshole-ish to Sancho… If saying that Sancho hasn’t been good enough in training is worth calling out your manager on twitter for than that sounds far more like a Sancho issue than an ETH issue.

Just read city start club world cup matches 12 - 22 december... with 7 teams... with host nation having a free invite (top finish team --- what a trash way in) and they said last year for the 8 team thing... and it goes to 32 (!?!?!?) clubs next year.

How can you have 32 champion league winning clubs of all regions? Who thought this one up...
How do you even get the teams? Whoever makes the final 4 semi-finals qualifies for the CWC? And how do they squeeze this into the fixture schedule?

Maybe? But still to throw a player under the bus like that doesn’t really sit right.

Tin pot trophy.

They should send a few squad players and their youth team.

But they'll probably send the starters and put Haaland and co in every game then whinge when they get injured.

I think the real story is ETH is an A hole. More so than every other A hole manager. Looking forward to when that emerges
Wouldnt be the first asshole coach. Hell a decade ago Mourinho was sainted on this board and there isnt a bigger jackass in football then him.

Sidenote, plenty of his former players have flocked to him. As with Mourinho.

When He was laying down the law against Ronaldo no one seemed to have an issue. Now we do? If players play well like an other coach he'd probably play them. There's no vendetta against Sancho.

Maybe? But still to throw a player under the bus like that doesn’t really sit right.
He really said nothing big, im shocked by the reaction tbh. He catered to him and without the big price tag this wouldnt be an issue at all. Sancho hasn't produced and shouldn't expect to be picked every game.

Trophy and don't forget --- the golden badge opposite club badge. Vinicius Jr with the hilarious flaunting and pointing to it when they were losing to I forget which club in a match last year.

L-O-L at this ETH is mean stuff. Hilariously juvenile shit, even for this place.
Yeah ETH is mean. Bill Peters is mean too. Mike Babcock is mean. If he wins, he wins but the pattern of not caring about assault and gaslighting players is there for everyone to see. If you want to underplay it, that’s your prerogative

In what way?
Blamed Maguire and Evans for losing the Arsenal game.

David Neres he dropped because he wouldn’t get a hair cut and Neres told him to worry about his own hair. Not saying it was racially coded but in my experience most negative hair comments generally aren’t directed from white people to other white people; not that would cause a manager to drop a player anyway

The only thing I can add to this Ten Hag conversation is that I thought he made some very poor comments diminishing Overmars sexual harrasment.

Edit: Oh yeah, I also think he stuck with Quincy Promes way too long despite his immense issues off the pitch.

It's very weird to me that Sancho publicly went and defended himself. EtH could be a straight-up A-Hole, but I suggest that you have to deal with it internally, especially Sancho here. He just put loads of pressure not only on himself (he will be crucified if he doesn't perform) and ten Hag, but the club and the badge. Now, the media will have a heyday with this story to the point that it will cause a riff throughout the club, but most importantly in the dressing room.

Human brains aren't made for memory, they're made for sensory information foremost, that's why people start to believe in something the more and more it is said or mentioned to them. I can see a similar impact with United's locker room, the more they read any potential news about Sancho going renegade and how ten Hag has lost power, the more they will start believing that there is toxicity in the locker room air. This could definitely initiate a lot more negative form by Man United on the pitch and exacerbate the bad atmosphere with one of a struggling club amplifying said toxicity. Now with that said, we've gone through the same scenario with ten Hag and Ronaldo before and how Erik sort of forced a legend out of the club.

Riyadh Air is owned by PIF so the owners of Newcastle would be sponsoring Chelsea to a record 60m deal. But probably nothing to see here
Was just going to post this. Funny how three of the named contenders namechecked in that article have major red flags about them.
