Precisely. They already had Guhle, Harris, Xhekaj, Norlinder, Trudeau, Struble starting their pro careers last year + Barron & Beaudin early in their careers. We have Mailloux coming in this year. Maybe Reinbacher. We should expect Hutson next year and possibly Engstrom.

We can wait for Bogdan.
I'm not entirely disagreeing...but it won't be long the day that Norlinder goes back to Europe for good. And Beaudin is just a interchangeable piece. But yes, it's just 2 guys off the list you have.

It's perfectly fine, he could be our next Emelin.

Why do people have an issue with this? He's going to continue to be a #1 defenseman in one of the best leagues in the world to develop.

If he has another solid year or two, nothing is stopping him from signing in Montreal (he can buy himself out) if he thinks there's an NHL opportunity.

He was never coming to play in Laval.

Yeah, I guess you’re right about that!

Didn't expect him over for the next 2 years anyways honestly.

3 years, I guess he can sign a 2 year deal then ? He'd be 23 I believe.

Worst case Ontario he does kind of well and can be used as a trade chip

I really hope he pans out, looks like he has a lot of potential to be a top 4 D

Same here. However, even last year as a rookie, he was practically the most used D. Larionov really trusts him.

And among U21 defensemen, he was third in scoring and 2nd in PPG, ahead of 1st rounder Mukhamadulin (taken by NJ, but traded to SJ for Meier). They were tied in points at 25, but Bogdan did it in 3 less games. Mukhamadulin did have more goals, though.

And as I type this, Bogdan gets an assist on Torperdo's 2nd goal. His 1st point of the season.

I'm not a skating expert but he seems to be a smooth one.

It's what stood out to me also. I've never really watched him (in fact I was never aware he existed before the draft). But it's not like there's footage of this guy on YT to at least see what he does well. So in that clip, I also noticed a smooth skater. But also a nice little hustle there to apply pressure on the opponent denying him the opportunity to clear the puck.

Likewise. He has quick feet and is able to jump into the play in a hurry. Along with his good anticipation, I think it's one of the reasons he ends up blocking as many shots as he does, oftentimes leading all other players in the category - like he did again today with 3.

did you hear that cause that's not what I heard.
... and then, at that point, you are supposed to tell what you heard , so people could be happy instead of frustrated , eating all the ice cream to compensate :banghead:

I do not believe they are a Habs fan, seems like a generic NHL news account.

Either way it was generated to appeal to Hab fans, I am not saying that it is without merit but this is 100% done with the intent to draw interest from the biggest and most active fan base.
